No chance Pujara is going now he the scammer has won MoS.  Brat is also there.  Motu is back too he was beast at home though but that was 2019.

This is Indian Cricket, I agree Rohit and Pujara are not going anywhere (unless injured).


Kohli even if he is finished, BCCI will give him a farewell tour.

 

I also think your mistaken if you think KL is going to be dropped. I thought Dhawan would be dropped when he was captain after his poor ODI performance, yet they continued with him.

 

India is rotten to the core when it comes to selections.

Status of Jaddu's fitness? He and Ashwin will be key in BGT, very difficult if they aren't close to their best. Both have declined bowling wise but I hope there is a little bit of magic left.

 

Jaddu vs Smith/Labu/Green and of course his batting!!!!

Ash vs Smith and their LHBs, then some clutch, rearguard knocks.

 

Ash has to get back to his best against LHBs. Even if we account for Warner's poor form (but don't underestimate a matchwinner like him, can change the course of a test match in half a session) they have two guns in Khawaja and Head...both at the peak of their powers. 

 

Very tough series this especially if we persist with our serial losers. 

 

As good as Pant, Kuldeep, Shreyas are ultimately it boils down to Ash-Jaddu, as has been the story for the last 10 years.

Our remarkable home run started in 2013 BGT (Feb-Mar) where we clobbered them 4-0.

 

10 years later here we are, our toughest challenge.

 

Warner, Smith, Starc, Lyon, Kohli, Pujara, Ashwin, Jadeja...survivors from that series. Some big names, enriched our sport so much, final faceoff possibly in the biggest test rivalry of the modern era. 

#1 vs #2, with WTC final spots at stake.

Why don't we make similar surfaces like the SA 2015 series & have just Umesh as the lone pacer & spin quartet of Aswin/Jadeja/Sundar/Axar :cheer5:

I d have kuldeep in the quartet and ahmedabad wala pitches.. dance india dance hoyega ma kkasam mithun chakraborty style yeaiii.. issue is kela kohli gujara team main hoga to saara sheher mujhe  lyon ke naam se jaanta hai bhi mogambo jaisa khush hoga..

No way Axar can be dropped with that kind of average in 2022. 

Axar will get his chance, Jadeja has only 2-3 years left in his career. Having both Axar and Jadeja doesn’t make sense , Kuldeep gives the variety and the X factor.
