Stuge Posted January 1, 2023 Author Posted January 1, 2023 I really feel Ishan Kishan should be given a chance in tests as well.

bowl_out Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Is Narayan Jagadeesan in consideration at all? He had a stellar domestic season in List A and is doing fairly well in Ranji this season. Average 40 in FC and 50 in List A. Not a bad option to take in the squad along with KS Bharat

Chakdephatte Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Ishan should play. No three ways about it. SRT100 1

putrevus Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Ishan should be his repalcement only if he is keeping for his Ranji side. This is what young keepers should learn, no matter how good their batting is, they only add value if they keep wickets.Dhoni never gave up his gloves even in a t20 match. He could have played as pure batsman in both tests and odis but he never gave up his gloves. Why was Ishan not keeping for his Ranji side? Now I have doubts about India winning the series. AuxiliA and raki05 2

BacktoCricaddict Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 KSB should be 1st choice, based on his consistency over the years, unless there's some super-amazingly can't-miss talented youngster out there.
Bigg Brother Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I think Bharat was always 2nd choice behind Pant. Since when Ishan Kishan became 2nd choice for tests?? How is his keeping?

Lord Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 maybe we can use the series as a farewell for Saha and Kohli
vvvslaxman Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Isan's keeping skills are not bad. Also he gives an energetic vibe. Bharat is also looking good. I won't mind INdia going with either one of them. But i would like take a ppunt wih Kishan. You never know. He may turn into a Sehwag like box office hit in Tests where field sets are attacking. raki05 1
