Odi team is getting sorted

With the addition.of Gill,Kishan,Surya,Kuldeep,Umran,Siraj our odi team is getting a settled look.

 

With Rohit and Virat at the top we form a good batting order.

 

With Siraj,Kuldeep,Umran we have a good bowling attack.

 

As Ishan Kishan as wk batsman ,who can bat at any position and addition of Surya has added depth to middle order.

 

The team management, selectors,coach,captain should find the missing link.and make the team more stronger.

 

A couple of allrounders will make the team strong as none of our top orders can bowl some overs between them.

It is unfortunate that Sen got injured,he would have formed a great fast bowling team with Umran and Siraj.

 

Tewatia,Venkatesh  should have got opportunities. 

 

Bishnoi could have formed a spin partnership with Kuldeep.

 

To add variety to bowling a left arm fast bowler ie Mohsin,Khaleel could be added to team

He came on as a substitute in the first game. I think that's the maximum action he will get in this series unless someone gets injured.

I dont see how. We are making semis. Just a matter of picking the right unit. As long as we don't stuff up selections and toss doesn't make a huge difference we will win.

Thats the main problem with this think tank ,they are comfortable with some players and they have made it clear ie Ishan Kishan,inspite of scoring.200 had to make way for Rahul even though he is makeshift wicket keeper.

 

Umran is also benched now and Kuldeep and Sundar are one bad game away from being dropped.

The team management have almost finalised the squad and due to injuries young players are getting  chance .but it seems they are selecting such players who can be dropped easily from the squad.

Also adds a left-hander that can attack spin to the batting unit.  

 

KL is weak against spin but good against pace...

The team is more or less settled for the world cup.

 

Assuming Pant will not recover sufficiently in time, Dhawan permanently dropped and Samson a wildcard, these are the 7 batsman going forward

For the allrounders, it is pretty straightforward that only these 5 will be considered since Deepak Chahar is injury prone.

The 4 fast bowlers are more or less finalized assuming Prasidh is not able to recover and Arshdeep a T20 specialist.

 Rahul was preferred over Pant as wk batsman.

Inspite of 200 by Kishan Rahul was made wk the very next match.Rahul can just take a break for personal reason and walk in the playing 11 .
