Guys no need to boil your blood...in fact giving space even in this forum we are making Pakistan relevant in some sense. Its a country that is on self destruction mode on all the fronts...economy in tatters, TTP/BLA is daily beating the crap out of them, political instability, foreign companies leaving, exchange rate touching Rs 300 for a dollar, Forex at all time low ~ $2B and no imports allowed after ban on opening any L/Cs leading to closure of whatever remaining industries. So all in all it is surviving on a prayer and loans from IMF, Saudi, UAE & China.

 

Today Moody's released the credit rating for Pakistan as Caa3 ....I mean there is just one more level below that existing to the lowest possible rating.

Plus all these accolades the Pakistan is getting at international level are phenomenal from showing up in FATF grey list, insulting proposition by IMF for just $1B loan, UN designating Abdul Makki  as global terrorist, selling consulate property in DC, Not paying Foreign service employees for months, even iron brother China is ignoring them now...the insults these guys are facing at daily level is beyond belief.

I read posts about Geneva Conventions and PoW, however, has Captain Abhinandan (for whom I have the highest respects) been even classified as a PoW?  

 

I read posts about playing BD anthem when Pak is playing in world cup in India, but aren't such tournaments overseen by ICC? 

 

 

 

PS if the idea of such exercises is to take the opportunity to display fake patriotism by writing some random stuff, then "Let's ban all Pak TV channels in India"

Paxtan anyways doesn't gives a sh*** about Geneva conventions...  Their BAT action teams have done horrible things at LoC.  India has also responded in kind via Operation Ginger back in 2013.

Kargil Saurabh Kalia another case...  Geneva conventions didn't do jack.

Tea has become unaffordable in this failed state.   The only way to create an artificial demand is to show pic of abhinandan.  Afterall, Beggars may not be educated but they know the basics of marketing and branding.

This saga has been going on for past few years. And should be put to an end. 

 

Without comparing and sports or event but sports is a part of politics and has been for ages. Saying sports and politics should not be mixed is foolish but there are certain limits and humanly treatments to the other. Funny ad campaign, friendly spat, on-field sledging are okay 

 

Nations projects their soft-power with sports and sports infrastructure.  

 

This could be PCB's move to bring some eye balls to PSL and get some discussion/thread going and attract some audiences to watch the broadcast.

I think some comments were made on Umran as well by Pak player before PSL
