Gollum Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Loving the determination and patience by Aussies in tough conditions, even someone like Warner chose to dig in and do it the hard way. When will we see our bats do something like this? We have lost the ability to grind our opponents to dust. nitinbwj, raki05 and Lone Wolf 1 2

Their entire home dominance the last 10+ years has been thanks to these two. Also a note of caution for India, maybe this WTC cycle expect a significant dip in performance from Ash-Jaddu, and with that our soft underbelly will be exposed big time. Broad has bowled well this series. Even now he is getting that big inswing going. Anderson is down on pace, zip but he should still do well against most opposition even at this age. I have a feeling that Pujara was told by the TM and Dravid to attack and play that horrid shot. This was never his game. He could have grounded the Aussie bowlers to dust. I blame the gadha company called the TM. Gollum 1
nitinbwj Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 How can you leave out Woods,Woakes and Leech ? Pathetic team selaction. Are they following Indian Cricket?
Gollum Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Labu is the luckiest batsman I have seen. nitinbwj 1

Nikola Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Anderson picks one. Can england stop Australia before 350 (total)?

A guy who can't put away half volleys or rotate strike can't be answer to surviving tough conditions. Just because he is good natured, does meditation on pitch, plays county blah, blah... His faults are ignored. He is Boobi bhaiya of Indian test team... I am so Happy we lost badly & we got to see the back of him honestly

Kothili Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Labu totally struggling for form. Next two days look sunny.

Not everyone has to play frenetically.

So much so that the complaint became that they can't 'grind it out' when it matters after the last juggernaut of a team they had. They actually have a good balance now and have by far the best test batting line up in the world. Gollum 1

It can work in Australia as you can leave balls on length or don't have to worry about lateral movement much once ball gets old... Kookaburra. Plus pitches are good & ball comes on the bat. His poor timing doesn't obstructs him there. Guy gets owned in WI as they use dukes too. He showed signs of decline in 2020 Aus too... Remember Gill was pulling &, hooking same balls Puji was getting hit on chest.
