coffee_rules Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Nasser disappointed. Says Cricket is the winner. Serves Eng right for a cocky declaration in the first innings. Take that, aholes raki05 1
Stan AF Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 England lost this test match where they could have easily drawn or even won .

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Bringing Moeen out of wilderness who in the process hurt his finger with lot of overs was a bad call in hindsight.

South Africa and New Zealand are heavily tilted towards pacers and Australia for tall fast pacers. and England towards swing bowlers Stan AF 1

They were totally out until that point. That turned the game around. Cummins was still very conservative till the end. Played every ball on its merit. Not for a moment, it appeared that he was trying to go bazzball. Proper cricketing shots on loose balls. Edited June 20, 2023 by Frustrated

Ironically they won this match because of positive approach they took for the first time in a desperation. If Cummins had batted defensively things would ahve been difficult.
MechEng Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Anyways, one thing is for sure, bazball won't be the same, there will be some reservations now to that approach.
Stan AF Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 I hope england does more of this bazball nonsense. Elect to bat and declare by tea in the next game by all means.
Austin 3:!6 Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Our defeat now in WTC finals doesn't look that bad now. Sgattick10, TheWall, Norman and 1 other 4

Frustrated Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 (edited) Had Eng delayed their declaration by another 10 mins on day1, it would hv been a Draw. Edited June 20, 2023 by Frustrated

In this match England was on the top of the game best part of the test match. IN that match Australia was on top for the best part. We were never in the game except first session on day 1.

Majestic Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 1 minute ago, Lord said: and England towards swing bowlers Ajaz Patel picked 10-fers. We can deny as much as we want but Indian wickets are the least sporting, heavily inclined towards spinners. They should produce a good batting wicket with assistance for spinners on day 4 and day 5. Adding to this, if they can put a tinge of grass on Day 1 for the pacers, the matches will be really sporting and well balanced for every one. It shouldn't be that Joe Root is picking 5-fer and Anderson/Broad barely bowling 5-6 overs for no wickets. AKane 1
vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Ponting is taking a dig at 393/8 :) Frustrated 1
