Vijy Posted June 14, 2023 Share Posted June 14, 2023 ideally as follows: rahane: should never have been brought in to the fold; some IPL knocks and ranji runs vs weak teams are not enough Pujara: has lost footwork, scoring options, etc. mostly a dead weight, both figuratively and semi-literally bharath: not a test-level player then, it should be kohli shortly: can't score runs beyond pattas next, almost immediately, it should be vada pav. he is the most unfit of the lot, but has scored some useful runs at least in SC over the past few years. finally, it should be Gill -- not suited for opening, and may not even be suited for MO Link to comment

If anything, I am hearing rumors that Kohli will get test captaincy again Remaining 3 can be phased out in following order: 1. Count Dracula - he can do the Dracula business for Sussex in 2nd Div 2. If a 40+ Dhoni is still the best captain/strategist then I'd pick him over someone else. If a 21 years old Yashaswi is in a better form than Rohit Sharma, then pick Yash. There is also no chance of youngsters getting selected in the squad as it is decided that they will stick with Ishan,Surya,Mukesh,Axar,Unadkat as they should get the opportunity first then.youngsters Only change is Saha in place of Bharat.
