Our players skipping the 5th test in Eng for prioritising IPeeL is unpardonable.  But I think here in SL, their concerns are genuine.   Grounds like Hambantota are famous for allowing venomous reptiles like snakes & even tigers during live matches.  LOL. Not kidding.  Players safety is first.  SL cricket board can't guarantee that.  They are bankrupt.

Lol I don't know about Hambantota but in the middle of Colombo too in 2 separate games I saw a green python in the ground on live tv.

This happened in Guwahati last year.

 

 

We are playing our warm ups there I think.

Begging is when you have to beg to play somewhere else. India should have been kicked out of the tournament and Asia cup should have been played in Pakistan if India were being the usual cowards :))) Rain was expected in SL and that's what's happening, would have been a smooth tournament in Pakistan. Money, no money is not a problem for Pakistan, we ll still produce world class cricketers, unlike the extremely overpriced average chinto binto of the neighbouring country. Your whole country comes to a complete stop when you play Pakistan, that's the power of Pakistan in India :) You desperately beg to watch Indian games against Pakistan, we all know it so well lol

You could have hosted this entire tournament without India but the other boards were smart enough to know that they'll earn fukkall if India isn't there. Who was going to earn them the revenues? Finally a pakistani who is willing to stands up for his country. I agree you should have kicked out India from Asia cup. Also dont come to India for world cup. Nations pride  should come ahead of WC/ICC revenue. Infact run PSL while cricket world cup is going on, that should bankrupt BCCI.... and then you woke up with tail between legs will come to India. Who gives a $hit about who wins the game. Bottomline your board will do what we make you do.

Asia Cup: India vs Pakistan Super 4 match to have a reserve day

 

In a strange, unprecedented move that is going to raise plenty of eyebrows and add more chaos to the Asia Cup, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has decided to include a reserve day only for India vs Pakistan Super 4’s stage game to be played in Colombo on Sunday. The Indian Express understands that the Indian team was communicated about the reserve day officially by the ACC a couple of days ago and this will be only in place for this game. In case the match on Sunday cannot be completed, it will continue on Monday.

Ever since last weekend’s group stage match between India and Pakistan was washed out, there were discussions to take the tournament out of Colombo and play it in Hambantota. But, the ACC stuck to the original schedule and with heavy rain forecast line-up for the weekend matches which includes Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh on Saturday and India vs Pakistan on Sunday, the organisers have decided to add reserve day only for the latter, which happens to be a big-ticket clash that brings in lot of revenue from a broadcasters point of view.

The forecast looks even worse on the reserve day. :hysterical:

 

 

ACC should take notes from this shambles and go back to scheduling Asia Cup in the Feb-March period like in the 2012-16 period. That is usually the best time to play cricket in the subcontinent.
