Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee on Wednesday scored fastest fifty in the T20 cricket in just nine balls to break Yuvraj Singh’s 16-year-old record made in the 2007 T20 World Cup against England. Dipendra remained unbeaten on 52 off 10 balls, his knock was studded with eight sixes.

In the group match of the ongoing Asian Games, Nepal put on a massive total of 314/3 against Mongolia. They became the first team to cross the 300-run mark.

Kushal Malla, who smashed an unbeaten century in just 34 balls, became the first cricketer from Nepal to score a ton in the T20 Cricket.

After being put into bat first by Mongolia, Nepal had a relatively slow start. Malla (137 not out off 50b’ 8×4, 12×6) and skipper Rohit Paudel (61 off 27b; 2×4, 6×6) put on 193 runs for the third wicket in just 65 balls.

Paudel got out on the first ball of the 19th over. With eleven balls left in the match, Dipendra new to crease played ten out of them and created history.

Indians also celebrate goals of Sunil chhetri and proudly claim he is third highest goal scorer. Please tell me against which team he scores the goal

Have never seen Sunil Chettri's goals being celebrated anywhere.

Hockey is a far bigger sport in your neck of the woods ie Punjab/Delhi etc. This guy maybe a legend of the game but has very low pan India recognition.

Not a good comparison.
