Time to rethink awarding hosting rights to dirty, unhygienic cities that cannot ensure basic sanitary standards and safety from completely avoidable diseases.

Dread to think what might have happened if Chennai hosted the opening game and half the visiting team were down with dengue.

Reports are that he was wearing a mask while coming out of Chennai airport, so he probably got sick before he landed in Chennai.

Damn, he was our key for quick starts. Please don't let KL open... pretty please

Rohit gives quick starts these days while Gill holds back.

Kishan will open most probably. Good too.

If he has dengue he has no chance to be fit for Australia game, and most likely will be out for the Afg game too. Might be touch and go for Pakistan game as the body usually takes a week to recover fully from the weakness.

Are you guy's even serious? Don't know about how replacement works? If anyone outside from 15 members came in the team this means gill world cup is over. sp no need of any replacement

Sucks.. Was so looking forward to Gill vs Starc after the Gabba massacre.

Hope he gets well soon

Kishan should open. Leave the middle order unchanged. No need to move Rahul to the top

Yes. Moving KL to open will be the ultimate disaster
