Sharjah-Harjah
Gill has been all at sea against quality pacers, specially in dippers. Average of 22 is pathetic in the World Cup, no matter how you slice it. Iyer also looks overhyped and a worse player of short ball than even Imam. With Pandya injured, this batting unit is over reliant on Kohli and Rohit, the latter of whom has been a midget in KOs for 15 years now. Is this another heartbreak in KO loading? Link to comment

Gollum
Let's wait and see. Sab pata chal jayega in a few days time. I don't know about others, just have faith in Kuldeep, he is capable of doing a Warne 1999 and then we don't need to rely on batters much. Siraj, Pandya also look like big match players. nevada 1 Link to comment

Every team has issues. It's not a freaking video game where everything is going to be perfect. This Indian team has displayed many more strengths than weaknesses. Don't ejacu**te prematurely !! Popular Post deathmonger
Look at this hero. His team is out of the WC in the group stages (once again lol). Just one semi this century (tied with Kenya) which happened to be Mohali, the greatest trauma in Pakistani cricket history. A few hiccups on a tough pitch (where India has actually recovered now) w/o seeing India bowl and which is not even a must win game for India, he is out with comments. Must have been waiting this entire WC to make comments but the performances of the India and Pakistan team just hasn't given him the opportunity lol. No need to worry about Iyer and Gill, worry about your own Zimbabar "can't bat against spin, only performs against minnows" Azam, Shadab "full toss" Khan, Haris "150kph ball, 250 kph to the boundary" Rauf, Shaheen "trundler with no inswing" Afridi etc etc. Tillu, Laaloo, rollingstoned and 8 others 2 5 4 Link to comment
cricspirit
Ban these premature ej-aculation threads please. Sucks to see the attitude and lack of patience of so many fans. Little sign of trouble and start making predictions with worst fears way ahead of time. This after IND winning all games. Edited October 29, 2023 by cricspirit bowl_out 1 Link to comment

Tillu
You talk like like Rohit and Kohli were Pakistani batsmen playing for india. These young batsmen are currently living in the shadow of these two greats. Once they retire they will come of age and take responsibility. Until then stop pissing all over your pants. Gollum
Two top order collapses already this tournament. Good test for MO in the group stage unlike in 2019. Link to comment

Yup. 2013-19 never developed a MO. Top order coasted through 2019 WC and 2017 CT and when trouble happened, completely fell apart. Same thing happened in 2013 CT but we somehow saved the final. Dhoni-Yuvraj-Raina were essential in the 2011 KOs. Do your best and after that what happens in KOs, happens. Gollum 1 Link to comment

I don't believe in such things. Top order had all the practice in league phase 2019 but we were 5-3 in semis anyway. Its middle order who put some respectable fight. Link to comment
Frustrated
Another embarassing group stage elimination loading for Pakistan. Pak could not qualify to the SF in 2015WC, 2019WC and the embarassing trend continues for the 3rd consecutive WC. But shameless Pak trolls continue to remain obsessed with Ind (who hv been unbeaten in this WC so far) rather than thinking about their own Minnow level team. mikeypbadana86
Good reality check for India. Remember, this is the 1st time India is playing batting first on a worn out Lucknow pitch. Kohli was looking okay with good strokes until he tried to hit his way through. This will help him visualize or prepare for an early wicket scenario in knock out. Iyyer is a weak link. Gill too is not contributing. So team management needs to address both the issues. Link to comment
cricketfan28
Other teams have much worse things to worry about, it is a relative thing and we are hopeful, lets see what happens. Link to comment

Dhoni needed to man up and come up the order. His whole job was to prevent collapses. Gollum 1 Link to comment
