All interviews for Saharan. Idiots!!! Dhas hit 11 fours and a six in 96. That's as good a counterattack as you can ever hope to see. Scored more runs and also took care of the rr. Ind still messed up after his wicket. Had Limbani not hit those big shots, we would have lost. Gaaliyan padti is Saharan ko

Arching is good only for local leagues. Not even IPL. Massive weaknesses. Manjot Kalra was way better at that level

mgr has gotten out to the same shot many times, but a big ego after one big innings on indian flat patta wicket, nothing he has done after that which is of any substance.. really poor game awareness

Similar to how Kohli got praise throughout the World Cup despite not being as impactful as others .

Constant chatter by captain is what saw us through. None on the other end would have won game without him.

True. I wish we have that at senior level.  Look at the brainless shots played by us in the test.  If bowler is bowling the last ball of a spell you try to see him off. Simple game awareness.

@nsareenArshin seems to have no technique for these conditions,plays way away from body

Foot movement is not there,his leg side pickups against decent pacers,not really seen in this tournament

Do they plan to drop him down the order? as dropping him altogether from the xi this late seems improbable

And why did they didn't play Aradhya Shukla for once?atleast should have seen his ability before the SF,Final

Only reason i can see is continuity and confidence, they would have communicated to continue with the same squad till the end. Aradhya was given a game or two in between to keep hm ready in case of an injury, else they feel super confident with the # of spinners ( 4-5 options ) and 2 specialist seamers and 1 medium pace all rounder in Kulkarni.. I feel kulkarni as a player has lost confidence, my observation is that for all rounders if the primary skill is not working they tend to fall flat on the secondary skill too.. Had kulkarni been scoring runs, his bowling may have more bite to what we have seen until now.. On Kulkarni, all his videos posted have been when he is hitting through the line, there are hardly videos of him negotiating swing / seam bowling, this tournament is the 1st opportunity to have a look at his technique, which as you rightly said is a bit dodgy against the moving ball, he is at his best when he is in the hitting mood, dominating the bowling, which he can do when the ball is not moving, that happens either after 15 overs  or he comes down the order at 5 or 6.. But i dont see them tinkering with the Xi for the finals, whatever may come they might stick to the same plans which have taken them this far..

If we accept Saharan for the way he plays, he does have lots of game sense & determination, he may lack in the hard hitting ability but he surely has the mental strength & game better than most in the current team..

I feel Aravally and Murugan abhishek are the folks in the team who have consistently fallen short of showing game sense and situational awareness. Clearly Aravelly has fallen prey to short ball and he keeps trying to hit the ball irrespective of the situation, which is bizzare considering what would the coaches be telling him before he goes into bat ? Murugan abhishek is a gun fielder, but thats where it stops, he is in the team for 1 innings he played in the quadrangular or challengers back in india where he made a 50+ score & that is it, neither he is amongst the wickets, nor he completes his quota of overs & neither he gets onto double figures with the bat & he comes in the curucial position of # 7, to me its a big weakness which the team management has not been able to address.
