Hearing rumours that Ashwin may play tomorrow for extra batting in place of Siraj... If true, it'll be a monumental fukkup if we bowl second and their batters survive the initial burst from Bumrah/Shami...

Siraj has a brilliant record at this venue.

I really hope they don't screw up like that, playing Chahal last time over Shami was one of main reasons for that loss.

If fans are scared of India losing batting 2nd/chasing then India doesn't deserve to be called #1 team its as simple as that.

If you need toss to help you then that's no different than relying on luck.

Play the same team and go for the kill.

If Siraj is injured replace him with Prasidh but don't bring Ashwin in there as there's never been a case where Jadeja failed and Ashwin succeeded.

And the joke of India leading the group is good enough is also pathetic. You win the cup due to pressure situations. Otherwise there will be a choker tag for life similar to SA.

Fielding - there should be abso*inglutely 0 drops, MS dropped Taylor back in 2019 SF & he made us pay & TGS also dropped CDG(Santner?) around the 40-45 over mark. We cannot afford any slip ups this time, even back in 2016 WT20 our fielding at this same venue was poor!

Also need to dive in case of close runs. Thala again didn't do it

Again we are back to square one.Luck is determining the winner rather than skill.

Toss should not play such a big role in the contest.

If there were majority Day matches in this WC, the results would have been much closer in lot of matches.

Day-Night match does bring with it a lot of variables like Dew, Ball swing under lights, etc... It is especially so in Wankhede where the ball swings/seams a lot under lights for first 20 overs.
