You know when was the last time india played a semi final at Wankhede when they were doing pretty darn well in the group/super 10? World T20 2016. West Indies was the only hurdle and they failed spectacularly else that cup was ours for the taking.

how is batting thin? if anything our bowling is thin-we only have 5 bowlers.

lost against nz. won against bang due to bang foolishness. needed kohli masterpiece against aus. easiest was pak and even there were jitters there.

Between the overs 11 and 40, virat scored 450 runs @90 sr.

 

De kok scored 350 runs @110 sr.

 

Rachin scored 430 runs @113 sr

 

So Virat scored 20 runs more than the rookie rachin at -23 sr with his mighty 1s and 2s 

 

Oh and Virat's dot % is 42% in this phase as opposed to rachins 36%. So with all the talk about his legendary strike rotation, he still gets bogged down more than boundary merchants
