Broken clock should be right twice a day, surely he can't keep on flopping, should at least manage a fluke innings once in 10 tries.

Stan AF Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 Spin bowling is still a huge concern. Indian seam bowlers sans bumrah are not good enough. Need to bring that Sri Lankan bowler in.
punjabi_khota Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 Epic opening game of this thread....staring at 220 ? Mariyam 1
Mariyam Posted April 14, 2024 Author Posted April 14, 2024 Ha Pa to blame for this loss. Brainless bowling at death. Terrible batting form. Tilak plays like Dravid in tests. Not at all serious about the chase. Poor strike rate. Our fielding needs to improve heaps. This team needs some serious dressing down. Gollum, bowl_out, ganeshran and 1 other 4
bowl_out Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 MI are missing Malinga and Pollard dearly. Whenever the top order screws up (IPL 2013, 2019 final), Pollard rescues them with a blistering cameo. Malinga then follows it up with a miserly spell along with Bumrah. Tim David is no Pollard. Without Malinga, Bumrah is the lone warrior with the ball.
bowl_out Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 With all talk of resurgence, the games that they won are against DC and RCB who are #9 and #10 in the table. They need to start winning against better teams to be in play off contention

Malinga, Pollard, all flourished under Rohit. Edited April 14, 2024 by New guy bowl_out 1
