That's cause other teams have multi-skilled players who can bat and bowl which is key in T20s.

 

Dravid and Sharma have a dad's army that can only bat or bowl and not field well either.

For most teams 2nd spinner comes from one of the batters in playing 11.

 

Additionally what seam options does Ind have, who gives any kind of competition ???

Apart Bhumrah no other seamer looks good, and there is no back-up.

Now question come who gives more confidence in picking wkts and keeping things quite -- Chahal and Axar so they made it to the team.

Jadeja is to give batting some depth. In t20Is he is not there for his batting or bowling its just to give batting depth to the team and if pirtch assists they may be he bowls more than 2 overs.

For other teams batsmen like Maxwell, Head, Livingstone, Jacks, Markram, Phillips, Iftikhar, Saim Ayyub etc. will selflessly bowl spin. Our maharathi superstar batsmen won't.

Unless they want to play both Axar and Jaddu and bat Hardik at 6 and drop Dube.

 

And this will really weaken an already weak batting lineup.

Spin these days never win you games in T20 cricket...  They will mostly go for 40-45 runs in 4 overs pick a wicket or two..  Can't bowl much in PP nor death. 

 

Only Indian selectors are stupid and backward to load so many spinners. 

 

Chahal had no business to get selected...  MC agenda hutiyas like Vikrant and Jhopda are to blame...

Another top order batter in the lineup ?  Makes no sense. Also we have 2 left arm spinners. 

 

What we need is someone who can bat anywhere and bowl off spin as a match up option. 

 

Can't help but think Riyan Parag ahead of Chahal would be a better decision.
