And then Afg beat us and give us send off, tear their t shirts slowly and our players see the green peeking through... Greenbros!!!!  The greatest turnaround one can ever see.  :phehe:

Till now Afghans have not gotten the opportunity to troll us.. once they get , it will be brutal :afraid:

I'm all for him. He should open both the SF and the Final match threads :agree:

Why do you care who opens the Final match thread?  India won't be there.

And now it's 95% England in the semi final for us.

G@ndu kismat BC..

I don't think the scars of Adelaide 2022 are still faded for these players and we have them yet again. We have 7 players in our XI who were part of that massacre. Won't mind rain washing it away at this point... :giggle:

If we lose to Aus by 40+ run margin, we will finish 2nd. And will not hv to face Eng in SF.

if its a rain affected match against Aus, in all likelihood, we will top the group irrespective of the result..

Bhaiya jeetna hai toh best ko peetna hai

I understand the emotions, the seniors who are used to loosing important games don't make it easy with their presence

They should understand this may well be that opportunity to whitewashh all their poor ICC legacy

Ab kabhi to kismat hamara bhi saath degi hi yaar.

We have Pant this time. He seems to be that destiny's child. In Gabba also his stumping chance was missed very early in his inning if I recall correctly.

Had absolutely no hope when the tournament started.

Then we beat Pakistan, we top the group, we are in easier draw in super 8 and after 2 easy games we have almost sleepwalked into SFs already.

As we are reaching final stages of the tournament, hopes are rising and so is the fear of the disappointment in the end.:giggle:

Same lol.

Every time it's the same story. Even in 2022, we went in with a joke of a team  without Bumrah , kuldeep etc and had zero expectations but suddenly we beat pak out of nowhere and the Bangladesh game was won with so many things going in our favour.. almost as if it was meant to be.

And then Butler and Hales pulled us back to reality.  :phehe:

There shouldn't be any disappointment.  India vs England will be at Guyana on a slow wicket with a huge 86 m boundary to midwicket and it's usually into the wind.

Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone are  going to run riot against some of our batsmen.

Yeah, I feel the winner of that match will win the World Cup. We have a golden chance today, not huge pressure, and an opportunity to knock out one of the biggest threat of worldcup contenders. We missed that opportunity in the 2019 world cup and now we shouldn't. Need to give 200% today.

Darr ke aage jeet hai. Par India ke liye har icc tournament main eng aur australia se haarne ka darr hai. Kaise jeetenge hum koi tournament. In 2011 we thumped aus, in 2013 we beat england. In 2023 we thumped both in group league. Darrna mana hai.

Sorry guys, have been have been on the road a lot, just flew in and checked into the hotel. I guess we will hold onto the best till the playoffs!

No prob.   We are banking on you for our fortunes especially on Ind vs Eng KO.  Don't want to bother you too much otherwise.   :winky:
