Who knows? Second largest stadium in that region (Barbados has max capacity and is already hosting the final just like 2007 and 2010). Also largest Indian population there, Indians outnumber blacks in that country!!! So maybe easy to fill the stadium for a morning match.

The venues for Knockouts are decided months in advance. There are only 2 venues for SFs anyways. All teams can plan accordingly. Don't think it gives any real advantage to India. ICC is doing it solely to milk Indian TV money not to help India win the trophy.
