Time to catch up. We have a young group of players and are well placed to reach the icc test wc finals.

Champions Trophy 25 in 6 months. Will most probably play it in Dubai. Great chance for us.

1983 wc and champions trophy equivalent in 1985.

 

2007, 2011, 2013 trophies

 

2024, ??

Personally I think a test world cup which india lacks would be highest priority for me

 

We also need to acknowledge we have never won against aus in the final. I hope this mental breakthrough provides the impetus.

test championship issue is that stupid final venue thing.

 

CT 2025 and T20 2026 are good as it is in spinning conditions. 2026 can be more dominating with new guys replacing kohli, rohit, jadeja etc.

 

2027 we'll be good as always but need pace allrounders.

I guess it's about a bunch of clutch individuals coming together form a team.

Australia too won 1999-07 with the same core of Ponting, Gilchrist, Hayden, McGrath, Warne,Lee.

In Asia we would be the best, in WI it's probably 50/50 vs Oz. They're still a good test team right now.
