Absolutely. These players making it so far itself is a huge win,  and got there despite the system and not due to it.

Yeah Swacch Bharat was a joke... remember they used to get these celebrities to clean up already cleaned up streets for PR. They used to get sweepers to clean up the streets and before the celebrities used to come over, they used to throw some "clean" garbage (some small bags, cardboard etc.) for them to sweep with a broom. Take pics and go away after the photoshoot 

 

Absolutely useless that stuff. Everyone could see through it and they didn't even pretend to take it seriously. It was always a joke - right from the intention and the PR.

If you are thgrowing garbage just outside your home and keep your home clean,  none of the govt measures will work. People's maansikta should change, we are the ones running the red-light if there is no cop around. Poeple have to think clean.

it was not a joke but people in India dont care.  Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan has had tremendous impact still.  it started garbage collection from every home every morning and is a success.  Cleanliness is as much up to the people as to the govt.
