rangeelaraja
We have been victors back to back for 17 home series, unbeaten in 12+ years. Will Bangladesh riding on a high catch us off-guard ? For me - anything less than a clean sweep is a defeat. I worry more about our batting than bowling. Link to comment

Eng series gave us good finds in Sarfaraz and Jurel. Dominance of Jaiswal, Gill finding his feet in this format, big pluses. Trash like Patidar, Bharat dumped, has beens like Purane sidelined, our batting hasn't looked this strong since circa 2016-17. Bowling looks more vulnerable because of old/jaded Ash-Jaddu, absence of Shami/Umesh, and Bumrah set to be rested. But still too much firepower for BD. putrevus and tweaker 2 Link to comment

RizBarKhan
Yes, Bangladesh are a threat for everyone now. They will probably win a test in India, most likely Kolkata - the nucleus of the Bengali nation, which Bangladesh lost and I believe is one of the reasons why they took quite some time to improve because cause they literally had to rebuild after losing half their country in 1947 vice versa I think the partition of Bengal cost West Bengal their development which is why they never produced any decent cricketers other than Ganguly, so this could be a watershed moment for the Bengali nation on both sides of the border, perhaps west Bengali kids will be inspired by their ethnic kins success and aspire to become the next Nahid Rana and Mahmdullah. This is called jaahilpana, Wriddhiman Saha is from Bengal, even Shami has played all his cricket for West Bengal. The upcoming quick Akashdeep too is from Bengal state. Abhimanyu Easwaran, who is one of the prominent batters in Indian domestic is from West Bengal. Maybe it's true in Pakistan, where traditionally players from Punjab enjoys more powers while players from other parts like Balochistan, KPK, POK and Sindh are treated as second class players. That's why it's in your mentality to look at everyone at the same scale. Edited Tuesday at 05:45 PM by singhvivek141 express bowling 1 Link to comment

I wasn’t really blaming discrimination or regionalism for West Bengal’s lackluster production in cricket, I was more so attributing it to their own doing but now that you point it out, perhaps that is a contributing factor. Nopes, not their own doing it. Bengalis, Keralites and North East India are traditionally more into football than cricket. Start talking to them about football and the discussions will never end. Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal rivalry is as big as anything. Yet, WB has produced some great cricketers, both domestically and internationally. If I'm not wrong it was Ganguly who actually identified Shami and backed him for WB. Saha despite living under shadows of great MSD is always known as one of the best pure keepers India has ever produced. express bowling 1 Link to comment
Ultimate_Game
I think it's great that B'desh is playing such good cricket. It augurs well for Aus series. We don't want the team to go there half baked and not tested at all. I hope B'desh push them and put them under pressure. Link to comment

Same thing goes for the Pashtun nation, across both sides of the border. No wonder your Western neighbors play the World Cup and other games against you with such anger and ferocity. LMAO.... Gracias, my analysis was in part inspired by the copious amounts of unsolicited commentary Indians make on the Durand line. Pakistanis generally don’t comment nor do much research on India’s internal problems as it doesn’t intrigue us as much but I’m gonna initiate that change. As for Afghans playing with aggression towards us, it’s because they have been instigated by Shaitaan (aka India) otherwise Afghanistan is a brotherly nation.
