we've almost gotten so used to greenbro stinking it up in a variety of different ways in different formats that I think its almost numbing how bad they have played this test.

Kimber's right though - this is pretty much the best that Pakistan could muster, and they are getting absolutely pummeled into the dirt.

"The best thing that Pakistan can do at this point, is to not turn up for the next game".

Ouch.

It's cringe af to see literal grown ups obsessing over that ghetto forum and treating posters over there as some kind of celebrities lol. Who the fukk cares!

Eng score is the Fourth highest score in test history
But it isn’t even in the top 1000 for overs faced.

This was assault and molestation. And they weren't even trying to score that quickly.

I almost feel sorry for greenbros.  Really.

well almost.:winky:

Nadal announces retirement. Day was going great, now sad.

Damn! Was expecting a solid RG performance or even a win in '25 to be his swansong.

Yes.  Root was in a 'Sachin in the 90s' position before Bazball carrying the batting.  There was a brief respite for him when Bazball was effective but that's over and he's back to Sachin mode (in more ways than one).  He's a superb cricketer and deserves the praise he gets.

India at home even in 1990s were very good in batting, I don't think Sachin was carrying Indian batting even in 1990s.

Sachin never had this sort of peak in 1990s or for that matter anytime in his career.

Sachin didn't play as many test in his peak which was the main reason. He played mostly 2 and 3 match tests and India played very less test series.

How can any one have this sort of peak after playing 1/5th of the number of tests?

As if he did anything great in 3 or 4 test series. Sachin was steady eddy ,nothing more.He never had peak, he was great , but don't bring that nonsensical excuse.

Nobody stopped him from scoring 380 on a road where SL scored 962.He was captain.

90s was played on roads.

Plus he played till 2013.

Instead of playing to their strength, which clearly is their bowling, these idiots made a batting paradise for one of the best batting team in the world. A team like Bangladesh showed them their place in the batting department, and they had the audacity to try the same bs with a strong english side. Morons is calling them lightly at this point ...

No bowling is not their strength.Batting is far better than their bowling. That should say about their bowling.

They have no bowlers. It is not like they have anyone waiting who was not selected. This is their best bowling attack.

Pakistan's best bet is to score big in first inning.

They don't have batting to perform on 5 days. It can do well in 1 inning max.

Bowling on the other hand is hopeless in any situation.

1st v BD - they should have never declared at 448/6. They should have gone on to score 550 and put BD out of the game.

2nd test v BD - they did well to score 274 on tricky pitch. Bowlers should have given then 100+ lead when BD were 26/6.

They are multiple ocassions when they almost match first inning score of opposition and yet lose the game.

Man, knowing that we will keep thumping Pakistan badly for the rest of time with the thumpings becoming more pronounced with time fills me with joy.

Bangladesh are a better rival for us
