Bazballers hv been touring asian countries such as Ind & SL for test series so frequently.  Yet their ability to tackle spin on slightly tricky pitches is still ZERO.   Only on flat patta, they might do well. Otherwise surrender.....

More a last ditch resort than a gamble lol. Yes they won , but it's embarassing that you have to rely on a used wicket for an entire match to even get a sniff of a win on home soil. But still... something is better than nothing I guess.

Pak fans on SM get so hyper when they win anything. Were high on josh thinking India too would lose.

Pak won't win on these kind of pitches if they lose the toss, their batsmen can't handle scorecard pressure.

Where are the demerit points for the pitches from ICC.

 

1st test was the flattest ever

 

2nd test was doctored used pitch that was a turner

 

Indian on the other hand would have got stadium bans etc. Double standards are glaringly obvious.

Even the Eng players & TM are totally mute, despite losing by 150+ runs on a pitch which turned square from day1.  They hv reserved their whinning and moaning only for the Ind tours.

Rohit & Co should bring it to bcci's attention on these double standards by ICC.  Not just the recent multan pitch but also the 2nd test between NZ & SL was played on a rank turner.  None of these pitches received any demerit points.

Come on, teams scored 366, 291 and 221 in 3 innings. Match lasted till day 5. How is that a bad pitch? Spinning pitch doesn't mean a bad pitch.

Eng media and ex cricketers started bitching and moaning all day, pressurising the ICC to award below par rating to that pitch.

tradeoff. their style won them two icc trophies but old school grift is gone.

 

same is happening with india (and rest of the world too).

 

that old school type of batsman just doesn't exist younger than 30 years.

 

tests might become more low scoring in the future.
