Looking at Rohit you've to wonder whether he can even run 1km. I don't really know how Indian team management and BCCI can endorse fitness tests when they've the captain look like that. I've seen fitter uncles playing cricket at picnic.

We should have picked Kuldeep as we are currently lacking wicket taking bowlers to complement Bumrah. Kuldeep bowled once in Aus, got 5 wickets yet never got another chance in Aus. Very baffling.

Looks bang average to me with the ball, but a gutsy lower order batter. We don't need to worry about spin ARs for the moment (at least in home conditions), since there's usually a lot coming through, especially in the SLA category.

It's really weird how things work in the Indian cricket system, If I am not wrong Kotian was travelling with the team as a net bowler and even selected in squad like a couple of years ago, suddenly he is nowhere and Saransh Jain walks into squad and playing 11.

Easy to say in hindsight. Saransh is more of / a better bowler in theory
