Adamant Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Wth Why is there no new fast bowler there? How will we prepare for BGT, whose our fourth pacer, its a long series in Aus, atleast one fast bowler will get injured.

Adamant Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 I like Mayank, the reason being he is not another Yadav or Aaron. He bowls 90mph+ and still is accurate, I have no demands from him to bowl 150+, bowling above 90mph with that height and bounce will be enough to dismantle batsman if he maintains his line and length. Travelling reserves won’t really play though, will they?

Yup, but if Harshit doesn't play atleast 2 tests before BGT, then we will be sending the below attack Bumrah Inconsistent Siraj 4/5 test old Akashdeep Inexperienced Harshit Inexperienced Mayank Inexperienced Nithish tweaker and express bowling 2

Reports saying Mayank might play A tour games in Australia Like Harshit. From what I can see this management is better at taking bolder calls than previous ones. High hopes from Morkel GG duo express bowling 1

I don't think TM cares about the experience part. It's just about ensuring that they have the skills - 135+ pace/accuracy - needed for OZ conditions and if they have the fitness/endurance to execute it for multiple spells BacktoCricaddict 1

Atleast 2 matches each before BGT. And if we win the first 2 tests vs NZ then they may play Harshit in thd 3rd test. Bro, if we look for experience then the answer maybe Mukesh. . Akashdeep is the only FC veteran among the new quick pacers and he is there. Mosher 1
cowboysfan Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Harshit more likely to play in BGT,he is the kind of hit the deck of bowler who generally succeed on harder pitches in Australia. express bowling 1

Third test against NZ will end on 5th Nov, then from 8th Nov to 15th Nov we will in SA for 4 T20's. From 22nd Nov BGT kicks off. I don't want Mukesh, but I want Harshit and co to play some games and get match practice. Edited October 12, 2024 by singhvivek141

cowboysfan Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Shami has been out almost for a year, many athletes have recovered from ACL tears faster than the that, his ankle must have been really bad after the WC.

He isn't in main team, he is in freaking reserves. Now missing Ranji as well. So, he's just travelling with the team as water boy and will give practice to Kohli, Rohit and others. So true, they are hindering the progress of young guy.He went to SL also I think but did not get any matches . Bumrah getting the captaincy is also a good one. Edited October 12, 2024 by putrevus
Lord Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 It was a good opportunity to include next chosen opener after Rohit retires (not too far) Also hope Bumrah is not permanent captain after Rohit. Will reduce his years in cricket.
