Toyger fans must hv already started celebrating their own 0-2 humiliation at home by SA.  As this will ensure their worst enemy (Ind) getting eliminated from WTC race.   Toyger & Pook fans hv now got a new father (NZ).  Let's see how long it lasts.

I know that was a travesty and why is england hosting the test finals  plus , If England had qualified for finals, those bozos will never put that so early in the summer.

I prefer the earlier system where the mace was awarded to the #1 ranked team. This so called final is a bloody joke and should be done away with.

Experience gave us "boundaryless experiment" in the world cup final. Kohli's "experience" almost cost us 20 final as well. Axar and dube saved him.

So true! After the 1st over Kohli was 15 off 5 deliveries and yet reached 50 off 49 deliveries. Essentially he gobbled up 44 deliveries to score 35 runs in the middle of the innings. This is poor even for ODIs! It was Axar and Dube who kept us in the game, and later it was Bumrah who won us the match from unwinnable situation.

 

Trust Kohli to always struggle when stakes are high. Just look at his IPL playoffs record - he has 16 innings and averages in 20s with a SR of 120! 16 matches/innings is a huge sample size, and shows why RCB, and India failed to win a tourney with him as the "senior" and "leader" of the team.

Hope that too many wickets don't fall to the new ball and then pin their hopes that the middle and lower order can scrounge runs off the journeyman opposition spinners on English tracks which don't assist spin as much.
