Yes, for arnd an year. Mera moh bhang 2015 me ho gaya. Can't recall the reason. I guess it was appeasement politics.

You were not the only one. There were many who thought this was watershed moment for Indian politics. And sheer degenerate nature of the man has made them hardcore haters. I know many in that space.

Many of my friends and relatives were enamored by Kejri in 2014-15. Now they all hate him. I'll still say the IAC movement was pivotal in ending Congress' reign.

I now believe that IAC movement (duration  year 2011), movement against farm laws or for msp, arab spring (duration 2011, 2012) all are aimed at weakening the central govt. and that they are part of larger foreign agencies' planning.

Is it a coincidence that IAC movement and arab spring happened during same time?

Its because we thought we were smart and personally invested in IAC. For me warning sign was when he decided to contest elections.

But when he decided to fight Varanasi LS, I was like hangon, this guy retracted in every thing

IAC was a sponsored deep state event that did the Satta palat in 2014. AK getting Magsaysay award was part of that. They expected a third front like kitschy government like 1996-98, nobody expected BJP to get majority government

I remember receiving a beautiful email against Corruption in India in 2004/5 at my work email address.

Yes, wiki says IAC started in 2007,

But i distinctly remember, I received that email in 2004/5. And then guys like Anna came and i was like there is the guy, I must support him.

Sometime i think what if there is another scenario. Kejriwal was planted by RAW into IAC to ensure that CIA fails and people understand pitfalls of stupid uprising against Our Democracy. Why, Because We definitely avoided a Arab Spring or many other similar regime changes in Eastern Europe(Georgia, Ukraine). He weakened people like Yogendra, Bhushan. Lokpal bill is exactly what is used to bring down Pakistani elected Government. He has totally discredited IAC.

Speaking to delhi folks, aap reign from 2015 to 2020 was ok. Last 5 years have been poor.

I think post 2020 aap thought bjp not in position to challenge.

What I think is that Trump not winning in 2020 was actually a good thing, if had won in 2020 he would carried on with the usual focus on trade and business only, his approach to his second term is quite different, now I am not gonna go into the racism that has been unleashed, and that's not just against Indians, others have been facing it like Haitians were targeted earlier. However, from a geopolitical point of view, he learned a lot and changed his team and approach in his second term, he would have never gone after DS in his 2nd term had it been in 2020, sure in the short run DS has hurt India, 2024 elections results for BJP were very likely influenced by DS, but if Trump can weaken the DS it could very well work in India's favor in the long run.

If you look the events after BJP came in power in 2014, I think they were consolidating and working towards setting the platform to introduce reforms in the first couple of years, they started taking action from 2016 demonetization announcement, now whether it was a good thing or a bad is topic for another day, the point here is they started implementing their policies from this point, but in the 1st term not much was done by BJP that would ruffle the feathers of DS, BJP pretty much came to Power in 2019 with huge majority, I think the turning point in DS intensifying their efforts in India was the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K, Ayodhya case and Article 370 were the only two major things the govt was successful in implementing, the reason these were successful is because DS wouldn't care much for Ayodhya, it was an emotional issue with populous support to govt. In the case of Article 370, this arguably was the greatest achievement of this govt, simply because how meticulously it was planned and executed, everything happened so secretively and fast that neither the opposition nor DS had any clue, if certain three letter agency of world super power had any whiff of this happening, they would have done anything to stop it, I equate this to India's Pokhran test success in 1998 in execution and planning, this event in J&K is what ruffled DS and intensified their efforts for regime change in India, because after this the sh*t hit the fan with the events that have unfolded since then.

It started with CAA NRC protest including the Shaheen Bagh, followed by farm laws protests which the govt literally had to roll back, Delhi riots, these are just the few events but a lot of work would have been put behind the scenes to topple the govt; however it is seriously strength of our democracy they we have been able to withstand this onslaught and NDA was still able to form the govt for the third time inspite of their efforts.

They are still trying everything they can to overthrow the govt, whether it is going after Adani, it is no coincidence, first it was Hindenburg who went after Adani, then US DOJ. I hear lot of these people keep saying Adani is not India, going after Adani is not anti India, absolute bs, yes Adani is not India, but Adani is a strategic asset of India, why do you think they want to go after Adani but not Reliance, TATA. Adani is no harmless player providing Indians with cheap data, or expanding retail, or building a back office for the western countries for software consultancy, he is a core infrastructure player, and a very competitive one, active in various parts of the world and growing and building strategic assets. Surely there are some things wrong at Adani, if we need to investigate and correct the course it should be us and not some foreign power. Second, the regime change operations in our neighborhood, it was Bangladesh recently, before that it was Pakistan. There a couple of the most insightful articles I have read on these issues,

https://theprint.in/opinion/why-rising-powers-like-india-must-now-adopt-amorality-as-the-norm/2432660/

https://www.commondreams.org/opinion/regime-change-pakistan-bangladesh

I don't think the DS will be completely destroyed but it might be weekend significantly, in fact there is a possibility we might even see a different DS emerge because even Trump is going to work for US, but he hates these pseudo liberals and their agendas so even if he creates his own DS, it will be very different from the current one. This is a great opportunity for Indian govt to act on a lot things, bringing in the necessary social and economic reforms, act on illegal immigration, if they manage to use this opportunity and act, they could possibly achieve in 2029 what they wanted to achieve in 2024 and come back to power with absolute majority.

In '13 when they kept insisting they wont form a political party i found it odd cause there was no way forward without actually getting into governance. For me it ended the day they took support of congress.
