"I'd just like to tell Heda one thing," said Vadapav, "If you truly love your wife, you'll stop *ing us. Otherwise, your divorce papers are gonna be on the way. Look at me, I am so good at making babies that even my fans want me to stop playing cricket and concentrate on being a father for a change."

Rohit hasn’t done anything in tests to deserve captaincy. I know you don’t need to be the best, but he is not even average in tests.

Not true, he should go but he's been the best batter away from home this decade & that's while opening! Although the sample size is relatively small, just a dozen tests -

Primary team India
Opposition team Afghanistan  or Australia  or Bangladesh  or England  or New Zealand  or South Africa  or Sri Lanka  or West Indies

I know Rohit is a big HTB.  He has a home average of 51.73  Away average of 32. When did he become automatic choice of Indian test team?

His away performance so far

11.25 avge - 2013 SA tour

40.66 avge - 2014 NZ tour

17.00 avge - 2014 Englandt our

28.83 avge - 2014 Australia tour

6.00 avge - 2015 BD tour

33.66 avge - 2015 Srilankan tour

25.00 avge - 2016 WI tour

19.50 avge - 2018 SA tour

35.33 avge - 2018 BGT

 52.57 avge - 2021 England tour

80.00 avge - 2021 WI tour

20.00 avge - 2023 SA tour

4.50 avge - 2024 BGT

Basically failed around 10 series clicked in 2 series. It is a bang average test career. Having a couple of half decent overseas performance in 11 years career.

Rohit's test career was done before 2021 BGT. What got him into the team was the failures by Shaw and Agarwal in the 36ao gamr which was why he was called into the team and he hasn't looked back since. No one thought he was a SENA opener at least before that even though he was given chances there before.

His IPL and LOI involvement  definitely helped him a lot. Making him a captain ahead of others was a terrible move as he has never shown at any level he is a good long format captain.

He is the only player of this stature who hasn't scored 500 runs in an IPL season for last 10 years

One of the worst, clueless captain i have ever seen !

Even the average fans have recognized this and having a go at this fatso!

Should be kicked out of the team ASAP ,no need to wait for him to retire

If only Rohit had not "skipped" many overseas series his record would have been even more awful

Well that "skipping" and his IPL trophy cabinet is what makes him a deserving Test "Skipper" according to the MI Fantards.

Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja in Champions Trophy.

Only after that humiliation will they consider leaving.

ODIs on UAE/Pak roads. I see RoKo score some impactless runs.

Rohit might, Kohli won't. He's simply done. Bring any random spinner or ask any pacer to bowl in the channel outside off and he can't do anything. He'll cost us another ICC tourney. Right option would be to replace him with Jaiswal so Rohit & Jaiswal open with Gill at 3. But knowing BCCI and our selectors we'll continue playing the same 2 walking wkts in the top 3 who disappeared in ICC knockouts for more than a decade.

There are no slips in ODIs, so he'll eke out some runs.

I could care less if they continue to play in ODIs, and they will probably do well in ODIs as pitches are just flat.

But, please f*cking call it a day in Test cricket, give me a WTC over world cup any day.
