Most useless player in all formats,I don't think he can even play Odis now

He should be dropped without a second thought, all planning materialises only when he and Kohli(also) are out of the scheme of things

Then phase out Ashwin,Jadeja

But Rohit ouster is the headstart

He is simply lethargic,no plan skipper, there is a time when even the best players rub off manhusiyat

Rohit is not even average in the first place, drop him asap

He has nothing to prove. He has even captained India to ICC silverware.  That was the perfect time to retire.

This.

He has the perfect opportunity to call a day after his heroics in ODI world cup and then eventual champions in T20 World Cup.

He would have been immortalized as 'Hitman' with his popularity at all time high. But he has to do what all Indian players do- being greedy, overstay and then humiliated.

No chance of that happening. He will play atleast till this series isn't lost.

Even before our thumping win in the 1st test I was hopeful for a series victory in Aus again. But now with the uninspiring fatass over the hill Rohit back as the captain I am afraid we are staring down the barrel.

Rohit had his golden period from Asia Cup 2023 to T20 WC 2024...public opinion was with him till then.

But it seems after retiring from T20 format, his mind is completely switched off.

Test cricket is most draining for any captain coz you have to be flexible and adaptable with your strategy. It requires immense amount of mental alertness and proactiveness as captain. Rohit is unable to keep the focus for that long.

If I was Rohit Sharma, then why would I retire?

Playing for another year or two will ensure another 50-80 crores in my pocket. It would foolish to retire for some sort of glory.

He still has that hype in white ball. Tests he never had it.

When all you do is stuff yourself with vada pav all day, your belly is so big you cannot look down and see your loda unless you hunch forward which he cannot do because of his Motu-ness, it is past time you leave kirkut, let alone kaptaaning, and dive into a mountain of vada pavs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly, his place wasn't even guaranteed in Tests.

He was suddenly made captain when Kohli stepped down because of his white ball exploits.

There was a time when players used to get dropped in the middle of the series, now we are too sensitive with morale and crap, PR blah blah...

If we can allow a player to walk into a team and disrupt the team in the middle of the series, we should be able to kick them out as well. No reason to carry so many passengers. Both Rohit and Kohli should ideally be on a flight home before the next Test starts.
