Gill was absolutely terrible in the SL Odi series.  Could play neither pace nor spin.   But he is the 1st name to appear on paper for the CT.    Same with Chokli & Siraj

At least Gill has a decent ODI record even if it is primarily in Indian conditions.  Fraudeja has sucked for 4 years in the format and they might select him above Parag/Axar to be the #7. 

 

Just like World T20, he is going to be the worst performer by a country mile if selected
