Jammu Kashmir Main Strike bowler AQUIB and Yudhvir are one to watch out for.

Saw Aquib in the highlights and i think he was bowling 133 to 142k , did not show pace. he got some wickets in the Match against Mumbai ( rohit and team)

ALso saw yudhvir and seems he was also bowling 133 to 140K- found him good.

even the third very tall 6ft 4 inch pacer was generating good bounce and got Rohit and he even did not celebrate.

Aquib looked upto 142k and i guess yudhvir was marginally slower than Aquib.

IS Aquib close to playing for INDIA????

Fast, but not enough. If he was fast enough, the forum would’ve talked about him. Yudhvir is faster I suppose.

Yudhvir is well built. He has scope to expand a bit further.

Yudhvir should have been tried by now, bowls ~140kmph hit the deck, able to bat a bit and decent outfield fielder.

Yudhvir can bowl 140+ but Aquib can't. I find it odd that Wasim Bashir never gets a look in to their side

Don't think Aaqib is that quick, looked 128-135 to me. Umair Nazir looked marginally quicker at 130-137k. Yudhvir usually bowls 133-140k.

 

Umar & Yudhvir are tall & have high release point while Nabi is another sub 6 feet pacer.

 

Nabi is 28, Umar is 31 & Yudhvir is 27. So age wise Umar might have missed the bus, could have played as net bowler for BG, its now or never for Yudhvir. Nabi, don't think he will be a long term prospect.

 

Sadly Umran is missing all the action.

Need to use him with new ball though. Dont think he has so called "variations" for T20. Seems like a proper test match bowler, similar to Kuldeep Sen.

Madhwal was badly tonked last season.  Deshpande always screws a genuine prospect.  First Simarjeet who only played final 4 games after Deshpande stinking entire season & now might be Yudhvir's turn.

Aquib is a trundler. Do t know why you think he bowls 138-145. He will be Kamboj speed of he pmaus internationals. I don't know if he gets that much bounce to bowl slow.

Auquib will do well only if he is treated as a bowling allrounder and picked in SEN tests. Picking him in shorter formats or playing him in home tests won't work. He would be really handy if he can replicate Shardul's handy knocks n spells in SENA

I am getting Kamboj flashbacks. Looks like a million bucks consistently for a whole season in domestic but somehow doesn't translate into international success. Maybe it points to undisciplined batting by domestic bats. In this case, tired Kntk batters.
