Interesting.  Pandit is supposed to be this amazing coach and his track record suggests it.  As coach he won two Ranji Trophies with Vidarbha, and orchestrated Madhya Pradesh’s first Ranji Trophy win.  Won IPL for KKR after a decade just last year.

62 years age should've no bearing. Plus most of our coaches are also involved with IPL teams. For a bowling coach that shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure if the rule is only for head coach or for all coaches. Regardless, it's a stupid rule. But nothing anyone can do until they decide to change it.

LSG rope in Bharat Arun as bowling coach

 

Cricbuzz can confirm that Arun (62) has inked a two-year deal with the Sanjiv Goenka-owned side for a role which will require him to work with the LSG players throughout the year.

 

Mayank Yadav, Akashdeep, Mohsin Khan. Arun working with them for next 2 years is good news for Indian cricket.
