Gollum Posted October 23, 2025 Posted October 23, 2025 Kohli will be under tremendous pressure. Maybe a painful 20(40) loading. Anyway I know these two will leave at some point. What about the new 'King' Gill? Why does he always flop in must win games or when conditions are even a little bit challenging? Even in the Eng tour where he gave the performance of a lifetime, Oval was the spiciest pitch (only one like what they gave in Anderson-Broad era) and Gill did nothing in both innings, while Jaiswal reserved his best for that game with a brilliant counterattacking 100 when we were behind in the game. I wouldn't be so worried if it weren't for BCCI's project of making him all format captain and the next deity of Indian cricket. nevada, Lord and tapandrun 2 1

Great runs on pattas but failed in Gabba both innings Bigg Brother and Gollum 2

Kohli's 2018-19 BGT tour was different, not as dominant but scored a great 100 in the Perth test which we lost. IMO his best knock in Aus. Lord 1

Jaiswal is better but he's good too. But he doesn't belong in white ball. Gollum 1
Gollum Posted October 23, 2025 Posted October 23, 2025 Smith scored a 100 in 2014 Gabba and a helping hand in their runchase, was MOTM as well. Peak Smith was something else, dominated on all kinds of pitches.

Not even when Gill's sister was getting rape threats, just because Gill scored a 100 against RCB and overshadowed Kohli. Kohli Daylight Rohit, Dhoni By far the most toxic fan armies. Sooner he goes better for the game and country I'd say it’s a minority of a micro minority. It gets blown up due to the ridiculousness of it. That way Sachin during his time was more popular than any Indian cricketer. Literally walked on water. No one wished death on McGrath etc. In fact McGrath used to be abusive etc too. It gets blown out of proportion.
