DUbe should be used only in certain countries. On sluggish slow pitch he probably can be useful. But on bouncier wickets he doesn't know how to play.  He can even play in England. But not in Australia. Probably can be useful in NZ as the boundaries are small. But ball will rear up to his chest.

Both wickets are good for his style. Ball doesn't get to you rapidly.

He hardly gets chances , he has his flaws but he is okay.We don’t have anyone with his skills if Pandya is injured.We cannot complain about him,

DUbe around off stump is vulnerable. Here you can see Auqib Nabi dismisses Dube similar to how Bartlett dismisseed him. He has slow reaction time as well.

The guy is young. He has massive talent. Over time will come good for sure

I don't see Dube adding much value to the team in 2028 T20 WC when he will be 35 years old. His batting seems to be very limited for SENA conditions, he is already a big liability in the field, and is utterly useless as a bowler.

We should phase him out soon.

Since he doesn't bowl, he can be replaced with a specialist batsman. If man of the series and back to back top scorer Sanju can be dropped, why not Dubey?

The guy is clutch. I don't care what he does in irrelevant bilateral T20s. But dube is a must.

Who are the viable options to replace him ?

 

Requirements ....

 

1)  Big hitter especially after over 15.

2)  Can hit pace.

3)  Can bowl 2 or 3 overs if needed.

4)  Performs in big matches.

Dube offered more than what we wanted off him

He is tall,long levers ,power everything for select conditions 

Not sure who is now coming with those attributes,that will be a bonus though

Reddy needs to improve his power game more and Madhav,I don't hav much hope for he's a midget

India does not have another DUbe.   Looking how they utilize Dube i don't think he will have the same impact under Iyer. Venkatesh Iyer is the closest you get in terms of height. Venky is more versatile. He can open, bat at 3, bat at 6.
