vvvslaxman Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 DUbe should be used only in certain countries. On sluggish slow pitch he probably can be useful. But on bouncier wickets he doesn't know how to play. He can even play in England. But not in Australia. Probably can be useful in NZ as the boundaries are small. But ball will rear up to his chest.
jf1gp_1 Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 He did play a key role in both WC and Asia cup final. Frustrated and express bowling 2

putrevus Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 He hardly gets chances , he has his flaws but he is okay.We don’t have anyone with his skills if Pandya is injured. We cannot complain about him, Frustrated 1
vvvslaxman Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 DUbe around off stump is vulnerable. Here you can see Auqib Nabi dismisses Dube similar to how Bartlett dismisseed him. He has slow reaction time as well.
Zero_Unit Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 The guy is young. He has massive talent. Over time will come good for sure
BCCISelector Posted July 10 Posted July 10 I don't see Dube adding much value to the team in 2028 T20 WC when he will be 35 years old. His batting seems to be very limited for SENA conditions, he is already a big liability in the field, and is utterly useless as a bowler. We should phase him out soon.

Since he doesn't bowl, he can be replaced with a specialist batsman. If man of the series and back to back top scorer Sanju can be dropped, why not Dubey?
Rightarmfast Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Jab tak team ko poori tarah dubaayega nahi, tab tak Dubey team me rahega.
Gollum Posted July 10 Posted July 10 (edited) Dude overachieved and helped us win 2 WCs. Like Axar. Both clutch when it mattered. Time to look beyond such low ceiling players now. Edited July 10 by Gollum Lone Wolf 1
Insidious Posted July 10 Posted July 10 The guy is clutch. I don't care what he does in irrelevant bilateral T20s. But dube is a must.
express bowling Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Who are the viable options to replace him ? Requirements .... 1) Big hitter especially after over 15. 2) Can hit pace. 3) Can bowl 2 or 3 overs if needed. 4) Performs in big matches. Suhaan 1

vvvslaxman Posted July 10 Posted July 10 We got what we wanted out of him. He is also approaching mid 30s. Give him a big thank you and groom Nitish Reddy. Madhav tiwari

Madhav tiwari Dube offered more than what we wanted off him He is tall, long levers ,power everything for select conditions Not sure who is now coming with those attributes, that will be a bonus though Reddy needs to improve his power game more and Madhav,I don't hav much hope for he's a midget express bowling 1

Looking how they utilize Dube i don't think he will have the same impact under Iyer. Venkatesh Iyer is the closest you get in terms of height. Venky is more versatile. He can open, bat at 3, bat at 6.
