Ironically, I think the long-term beneficiaries from this has been Congress. TMC will now be desperate for an alliance. Cong might pitch TMC CPM and Cong alliance for lok sabha. They are at 0 in WB so anything is a gain. Congress can also get a ministry in TN despite going down from 18 seats to 5. They now have options open with DMK ADMK and TVK to bargain for more seats. But they missed an open goal. Vijay was offering them 60-80 seats + deputy CM. Now might have to settle for a singular ministry. The Indi alliance is crumbling but Congress can get more out of it. putrevus 1

Otherwise IAS officers would be ruling our government. he was literally a party strategist in Gujarat who delivered the 1998 victory for BJP before becoming a CM. He knew the workings of the state gov. He was CM for 12 years before becoming PM. Good luck to vijay (if he forms the gov). Any mandate should be respected.
