That will get the cat amongst the pigeons as then tany of the other 3 can qualify. I don't think they care tbh. Their current administration is based on extreme anti-India and anti-Hindu ideologies. deathmonger Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Also this might be me speculating - but was this in anyway affected by the Baluchistan thing. From reports, damage seems to be heavy even though their government is trying to hush stuff. raki05 and jf1gp_1 1 1

The Realist Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Hopefully this puts an end to the shameless rigging of fixtures. "First men's ICC event since 2010 not to feature an India-Pakistan game in the group stages" raki05 1
Gollum Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 India/BCCI should also troll a little and invite Fizz back to play this year's IPL. Then in next KBC game, pose a question, who is real life Dhurandhar a. SRK b. Fizz c. Naqvi d. Munir cricspirit, Sgattick10, putrevus and 4 others 1 6
Gollum Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 After all this, if BCCI/GOI doesn't go hammer and tongs against PCB, I will not just hate but also wish bad things for Modi, Jay Shah, BCCI, everyone involved. Least i expect is de-recognition of PSL, drastic reduction or complete freeze in ICC handouts to them, ban from ICC tournaments for 10 years, and pressure on other boards/players to cut ties with PCB. Start with Hesson, make an example out of him, he shouldn't even be allowed to run a youtube channel. And anyone who participates in this year's PSL in any role should be blacklisted from Indian cricket.
mishra Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) Well played Jay Shah. Now sit on decision till the game and then penalise Pakistan in such a way that PCB becomes bankrupt. Wlso keep fuelling in their media that they are doing right thing. Edited February 1 by mishra raki05 1
deepdynamo Posted February 1 Posted February 1 The ball is in ICC court now. What can they do? There were previous instance of a team boycoting a single match and forfeiting points but continue playing the world cup ( happened in 1996 and 2003). So, in theory ICC should stick to that. But this is BCCI vs PCB as well and the reason given by pak is weak ( in support of BD). The ICC could take some harsh actions esp since Jay Shah is heading it. Also, ICC would want to set a precedent here. The next week is going to be very spicy. raki05 1

Gollum Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 Next few days are going to be very interesting. Hope Pak doesn't do a U-turn. Want them to grovel after this, and see the end of Pak cricket unfold live.
Rightarmfast Posted February 1 Posted February 1 This is a very strategic game by Pakistan, the way I see it. Bangladesh has refused to play in India. And now Pakistan. This has nothing to do with finances and winning in a weaker group. This is a noise they are making in the International circuit. And this will have a far more reaching, and long-term damage to the reputation of India as a host, as well as for the BCCI. For some time now, BCCI has been flexing muscle. After this Bangladesh and Pakistan showdown, countries like Australia and England will start raising their voice. They definitely will make hay when the sun shines. BCCI, which also happens to run ICC in a way, needs to be very strategic. Sgattick10 1

Zero_Unit Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I am all for apart from SL, none of the other 3 Asian idiot boards should get the right to host any world cricket event. Shove politics down each other throat and go play politics in one corner.

Why would Australia and England join them? What benefit will they get and what are they lacking now? Everyone sees it for what it is, childish temper tantrums by two boards
vayuu1 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 The delusion amongst ppers is something to be laughed at including Pakistani awaam bcci ko hurt kr. Diya jay shah ko hurt diya abey lovaduddin ki aulaado humey Ghnta fark nhi padhta ulta hum khush hai pcb ne apni kabr khud khodi hai
