Not the first time,Sanga Mahela both looked like tailenders in CWC2003 Abhishek's confidence(that has hit rock bottom) has been his achilles heel, need to work on it Both of the friends Abhishek-Gill have shared this trait, they both wilt under pressure Edited March 5 by Suhaan
express bowling Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) Arshdeep is generally a good T20 bowler. Good with the new ball and ok at the death. Anyone can have a couple of bad games in T20s. Before a critical final, would support him fully. We don't have any better alternatives in this squad. Edited March 5 by express bowling BacktoCricaddict, Mosher, Suhaan and 2 others 5

putrevus Posted March 5 Posted March 5 One no ball each from Ashwin and Bumrah costed India two ICC trophies. You don't get second chances sometimes.Like Brook's mistake costed England the finals. Arshdeep had two matches in row where he has been bad.He is lucky his team is still alive.
Chaos Posted March 5 Author Posted March 5 Terrible in field, terrible with bat and aweful with ball putrevus 1

maniac Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Arshdeep is clutch. He should play in every white ball game for India even ahead of Bumrah when he is getting his workload managed. he is the Siraj of white ball. Looks behind Bumrah but has the clutcher wickets. putrevus, Chaos and Lord 2 1

vvvslaxman Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Almost every podcasters was shocked to see final figures of Arshdeep. This is the thing that he has to correct. 24 balls he bowls like 19 good balls and losess it in the remaining 5 balls. He was nailing yorkers Lord 1
deepdynamo Posted March 6 Posted March 6 If not Arshdeep then who? Siraj, Prasidh or Rana- all of them can also be taken for plenty of runs. Atleast Arshdeep can nail some perfect overs at death that make a huge diference.

I think if he swings SKY should be able to protect fine leg

Singh bling Posted March 6 Posted March 6 The best pace attack of Tournament, Rabada ,Ngidi,Yansen and Bosch was taken to cleaners. Apart From Bumrah No Bowler is unhittable . Bring some another bowler with slingy action and 140 plus yorkers with pin point accuracy then only Arshdeep can be replaced
Mariyam Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Arshdeep had a very good last over. Totally put England under pressure. Arshdeep is a must have in this format.
