This IPL has become a bore

SRH: Decent side, terrible fans like @Chaos and company. ICF will be unbearable.

RCB: Decent fans @diga @coffee_rules@cowboysfan, but an unbearable side. Kohli and by extension @putrevus will be unbearable.

RR: Team that should win and fandom on ICF is not totally retarded. Also @Gollum’s 5th team.

GT: 1 fan = @zen. Generally likeable but if GT wins we will see 30 new short forms, adjectives, terms and nick names created by the sole fan of the saintly beastly respected reserved GT.

Heart says RR

Brain says GT will win.

What about SRH And the millions of Kavya fans on ICF?
Here is a fun fact. SRH placed 4th , won all  the KO games and the final too. Year was 2016 , history could repeat after 10 years?
sRH has decent fans like @Tillu and not so like @Chaos

No bhai ODI WC is the holy grail

I am just pre-empting any disappointment. I know we aren't going to win with so many oldies.

and Gill to get captaincy of Indian T20 team. That will make 2026 IPL worthwhile and also make most of this board go insane.

@Gollum Dehati gawar chokli fans are indeed national embarrassment and so is their idol who is also playing a role in the bad press Indians get abroad and this guy wants to settle in London himself lmao

As per ToI head's wife said her friends and family have also been targeted by these jaahil gawaars..

If MeA Baboos are serious they should get this Londoner to apologise on the behalf of his gawaar army and and an example must be set before more damage is done to India's reputation

If he doesn't comply force BCCI to terminate his contract and send him on his way.

@Lone Wolfaisa hota hai na bhai,ke it is one thing to display masculinity and intense competitive spirit on the field. Even off the field, expressing that fire is acceptable, provided it remains within civil boundaries. However, players cannot allow their toxic, overzealous fans to cross the line, dragging down both the athlete's personal standing and the nation's reputation.Casual supporters must understand their limits, and if they fail to do so, they must be firmly taught.Players have a responsibility to actively call out this behavior and appeal to their fanbases for decency. Relying solely on moral appeals will not suffice. To address this systemic toxityy, stricter cyber laws must be introduced. No digital troll should be allowed to retreat behind anonymity and escape punishment after unleashing targeted harassment.

When fan culture mutates into unhinged malice directed at a player's family, it demands immediate, institutional consequences

This Jokli is too arrogant to do it,too many instances when he has shown he's above everyone else

Erin Holland faced it for a long while and so did Dan Christian's wife and all of this is known to Chokli and his wife's PR.

Jess Head should have went to Australian High commission and that would have woken up MeA.. fir iss Chokli ko acche se set karti External affairs ministry.

Though Good on her to straight to media as well and this has now blown up significantly

Made a thread on this just now, before seeing this post of yours.

Disgraceful really. Dan Christian, Cutting, DK, Gill, all have been targets of this rabid fanbase. Looks like this kind of hounding is very deliberate and orchestrated by Kohli and his team, to flex his might.

You are right, no more just a matter of cricket or BCCI. Govt must get involved, faltu mein India ka reputation kharab ho rha hai, and innocent Indians will pay the price. This guy will scoot off to London, do more PR photoshoots with babas and priests, isko kya? Vile human being.

Mai pehle hi kai salo se bol raha hu,jitne fandoms hai, might be backed and actively taken care of by these superstars. It is not as if the likes of jokli, badada, or tony are unaware of what is happening, they deliberately choose not to interfere.By failing to object to this behavior, they effectively give these hooligans a green light to escalate their toxicity every single time

Hope this blows up and people see him for what he is, poster boy for online bullying and rape threats. And hope there are consequences here, govt can't keep being silent or ignoring all this when our reputation overseas keeps going down the gutter.

@Lone Wolf

r/Cricket - Excited for rabada vs Kohli?

Same thing happened here. Guy started lafda with Head, asking when he will come to bowl. Baad mein Head came to bowl and got Patidar's wicket, VK stormed out of dugout. What kind of weak **** is this man?

Didn't Head start it with his comments on how he was getting out on 4h 5th stump line in BGT? Not sure, happy to be corrected.

Don't think so.

IIRC, Kohli started the whole thing by barging into 18 yo Konstas' shoulders for no reason. The Aus media started poking fun of him, doubt their players were involved. Anyway there are images of Kohli and Head with shoulders around each other from that series.

This issue is separate I think, because Kohli shook hands with him after 1st IPL match this season.

Explained: Travis Head Incident That Left Virat Kohli Fuming, Triggered Handshake Row | Cricket News

Head was sledging him reportedly but that is still no excuse.

From that article,

From the visuals that surfaced on social media and TV, it looked like Head tried to rile up Kohli, which did work in SRH's favour. It seemed like Head had challenged Kohli to execute some big hits, which prompted the latter to invite the SRH star to bowl.

"Now that you are not going to be substituted, you might as well bowl," Kohli seemed to have said.

Kohli even seemed to point out that Head more often gets subbed out as the Impact Player. But since it hasn't happened this time, Kohli counter-challenged him to come out to bowl. After Kohli got out, Head seemingly said: "You are out, mate, before I could even come on to bowl."

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan summed up the altercation while doing commentary in the match: "Virat Kohli had invited Travis Head to come to bowl off-spin, he said you always go out as the Impact Player. The banter between the two started again, Kohli invited Head to bowl."

Harmless banter hi tha.

It was Harmless from Head's side but manchild ki ego hurt ho gyi... As Rabada said he can't take it when the other one gives it back.

Pre IPL era Aussies or Saffers would have cooked this egomaniac.. Johnson was the last one who didn't gave a f**k and went toe to toe against him and then obviously owned him at the biggest stage.
