We have the access to the best that Russia and Israel have to offer. US has not sold one new platform to Pak except upgrades to the existing fleet of F16. We have access to some of their very best technologies, which Pak doesn't. Italy is no major military tech player. India can on one insistence of Modi to Meloni even stop that. But we are bigger than that.

Tbh...Meloni does seems like the one who wants to change. One can see from her availability in the Trump's conference that she doesn't like the current status quo. It's just that Italy is too weak to do anything beyond and they are prone to pressure. France after the humiliation in WW2 worked hard to chase an independent foreign policy. But Italy and to a large extent Germany were under the thumb as being part of Axis power. Germany's situation isn't too good at the moment, they've the engineering but even they're facing lot of issues and the decline is pretty visible. They do have skills but their foreign policy is very strongly under the control of US.

Uae we understand and dutch saw some deals that didn't require modis presence given we will be operating in mature nodes and not the cutting edge fo EUV or high NA
