This is so pathetically paranoid that it surpasses conspiracy that Mossad caused 9/11:hysterical:
Kachcha Dhari conspiracy theorists having field days with arrival of Modi at helm. :hysterical::hysterical: In RSS run school, it is anyway told already.

I am glad you guys think the Taj is now a Hindu temple.
Time to bring it down just like Babri masjid. Ram was born at babri site and shiv built taj so let the ball roll. :band:

wish more people can think like that.
But what's the problem in knowing if it was actually built by someone else. BTW, I studied Qutub Minar was built by Qutubuddin Aibak but on this thread I read it wasnt. Need more clarity.

Its proven that the material used to build qutub minar has hindu god and godesses engraved on them.So who built it is a question.India was a very rich country when Muslims first entered mainland India in 1100s by defeating Prithvi Raj Chauhan. Its highly improbable that none of the Hindu rulers had built anything in around Delhi before Muslims came.

You seem very happy at the idea of bringing down a mosque, maybe I should add #kaffir and see how long it will take your countrymen to bring down your building.

While on vacation in Delhi in 2004, I made a trip to Agra to see the Taj. Having grown up watching numerous pictures on TV and in books,I must confess I thought the whole thing was a bit overrated. As we made our way to the gates of this wonder, the area around looked old and unkempt. However, the moment I entered the grounds and the imposing structure slowly came up in front of my eyes, all my doubts dissolved. It was breathtaking....its difficult to take your eyes off the monument the first time you see it. It was truly spellbinding....almost surreal. It is not one of the most beautiful man made monuments on earth. It is THE most beautiful monument on the planet.

Exactly my feelings too! Well put! Assuming we put aside the barbarity surrounding it and to some extent even the doubts about it being a Mughal structure.

The problem with Indian history is that there is not much documented evidence. History is usually what is continously told. Many people (usually the libtards) say Ramayana is a mythology because there is a lack of documentary evidence

For Padmavati, ppl ask for documented evidence of her existence too

Using the same yardstick, we need proper documented evidence, including neutral’s, of Taj being built by Shahjahan too

One cannot be seen as myth while the other as “history”

In last century, Some scholar did a thesis where he argued that Taj Mahal is actually built on a place of Shiva Temple. And marbles used are from that Shiv temple.  I remember reading that thesis out of curosity as a school kid and that idea still vaguely existed in some corner of my brain. Got older. Thought all that was some religious fundamentalist BS.

Some month back I saw a whatsapp video which talks about longitudinal alignment of Shiva temple. Googled it and found similar on youtube.

Now. You guessed it right, what I did next after watching that? Checked Longitudinal position of Taj Mahal.

Not that I am convinced now about that thesis but There is no smoke without fire.

Yeah not a conspiracy enthusiast but I find the story of a Mughal Emperor who had a million wives and concubines building a mausoleum that looks like a palace for his dead wife hard to believe.

I mean obviously it is cool to question logic in religion and scriptures but if you question basic common sense in perceived history you are classified as a right wing loon.

He married others, but none bore him sons. Mumtaz from 18 to 39 years bore him 14 kids and died during childbirth of the 15th kid. No wonder she got a Taj Mahal. After her death, Shahjahan marrier her sister. Tharak-e-Jahan!

Siring many male children was a duty of the emperors. Not many kids made it to adulthood. Not many of them were 'capable' enough to rule. And those that did were always involved in varying levels of fratricide.

I'm no history buff, but it wouldn't be a stretch to guess that this wasn't a practice limited to the Mughals only. All medieval kings in India and in the wider world had many children.
