I'll admit to being frustrated by Yadav in the past, but not one is happier than me with him right now! He has really been consistent this series and in the recent past. Excited for the combination of him and Shami.

Also criticizing a fellow player in pc is pathetic of any captain.If you can't see the wrong in it it's sick of you.Check facts before posting

Well he cupped and massages ishant and he never did become the bowler we dreamed off lol well it could be ishant cupped and massaged but to be honest no one really knows which way round it was

Agree as a captain you can blast all you want your players in dressing room but in public you need to support them. Dhoni did not show support to many players.

Umesh is also setting a new standard of fitness for our future fast bowlers. He is naturally athletic but has also worked really hard to stay fit and improve his stamina.

 

It was heart-warming to see him bowl as quick as ever in the 14th test match he has played in the last 9 months.  Always running in hard and hitting the deck harder, whether it is the first hour of the day or the last.  

 

Now that he is picking wickets and has improved his accuracy.... his fitness can be a benchmark for young Indian quicks to follow.

Umesh has great physique and build .

I sincerely hope the Indian team management don't tinker with what's working. Keep Umesh for Tests and keep him away from shorter formats. We have enough bowlers for shorter formats in Bumrah, Nehra, Bhuvi, Shami (if fit) and let Umesh focus on Tests. Hope they do something about our pathetic slip catching as well coz without catching everything in slips, we can kiss any chance of winning away from subcontinent goodbye.

And he is also a very damn good fielder too boot. His fitness has to be commendable.
