11:30 pm rule is for our own good imho. 11:30 stop means that most people would get home by 12-12:30 and sleep not too late which is good . Though people can come back n say let them decide whats good for them.

Once, I was in Mysore. We came out of a movie 5-8 evening show and were hungry and as we looked around, everything was closed it was barely 8-9 p.m. We could not find a single restaurant open. Sala bread kha ke sona pada jo room pe rakhi thi.

I have a lot of love for B’lore. I have immediately family in B’lore (my sis) and I visit there every time I go to India. It is certainly like a breadth of fresh air, compared to Madras’ sometimes depressingly traditional outlook. The weather is great, the club scene awesome and everything. So props to them for that. But in all honesty, what kind of city closes all of its food establishments by 9-10? :dontknow: I mean, leaving home at 10 pm, going with a group of 10 guys/5 motorcycles and grabbing late night dinner was one of the highlightsof late-teen/early2 20s part of my life. That is just what guys do. That is where we talk and discuss guy things, bully each other and make one poor soul pay for the rest of us. B’lore is taking away one of the all-time favorite guys’ fun activities. :headshake: For that reason alone, B'lore loses a lot of brownie points in terms of best cities for guys to hang out.

what is the closing time in other major cities in india. i went to the b'lore clubs couple of weeks ago when i visited india on vacation and was extremely disappointed, not just from the closing time but the dancing style, the attitude, quality of girls, conversation etc etc. i mean they get downright hostile if you offer to buy them a drink. couldnt wait to get back to the hollywood clubs.

What a chutipa rule is that and also don't know much India nightlife, as I have been to India once when I was 7 year old BUT london nightlife is the best ever
