No what i see is a sportsmen kind of attitude which mean wont accept defect no matter what. Yes moving hotel was taking it a bit to far but i am not buying the security concern etc. Again this is a trivial matter blown out of proportion however this episode will make it to the list of reason of those who already want Dhoni to be dropped from the team. I view it as a captain backing his player and if it means appearing like an *****hole so be it.

Should Dhoni have behaved like how he did, being an Indian team captain? Which hotel is he going to stay is not in his hand. It is managed by designated officers, so why just because he could not eat biryani in boardroom, he had to leave the hotel setting a bad example.

Well you post is completely wrong I am afraid. When you make bookings of more than 80% of the hotel rooms you expect some privileges. Specially when the guests are VVIP's, its a duty of any 5 star hotel to make the guests comfortable and keep unto their demands unless it is illegal. Now what privileges did team CSK demand? Having home cooked food in hotel boardroom? Is it too tough to accommodate for a hotel like Kakatiya? This is absolute non sense behavior by hotel staff/management. I don't believe Dhoni lead the team immediately out of the hotel. There must have been attempts from both parties to come to a conclusion. Since it didn't happen, CSK team shifted to other hotel. They have all the right to move to a new hotel as it is their money and their choice. It surely have massive financial loss on the 5 star hotel but how that is Dhoni's concern? If you take an internet connection and not happy with the service, do you not move to other SP? Since Dhoni (read as customer) was not happy with hotel, he has all the right to move to a new hotel where he feels comfortable. What wrong did he do? What else he should have done? Adhere to weird rules of the hotel even after make bookings of over 200 rooms?It is quite clear that Kakatiya hotel wanted to get a mileage out of the VIP guests only to dug their own graves.
