Have to say bk massively improved in this test

clearly been told get stoneger and quicker if want to play for this india . Looked like been working out body wise , powered up a bit

he was clocking up to 89 mph . Unheard of for bk and did this in second spells as well

has again Indian think tank got a change in one of its bowlers .

never interested in bk for tests . Suddenly maybe one to watch . He swing at 85 mph plus , potential serious weapon

lad may have worked hard and we may see rewards

On top of that, have to say this, if he gains a bit of muscles can easily add, 3-5 mph in his bowling, imagine bhuvi version 3.0 with his swing bowling at an avg speed of 143-152 kph, dude can run riot if he does that.

Ok will have to agree Bhuvi has worked hard and added a yard to his medium pace and bowled ok, he seemed rather poor compared to all other pacers in the match, can he bowl n hit good areas with intensity accuracy and build a spell, for me he bowled poorly on a track where all pacers were bowling menacingly and got one wkt which was a batsmen error n inside edge n that is a worrying sign also his batting was a let down, for me we should start looking at impact bowlers , see what Cummins did, get in Kulwant, Aniket, Sangwan.

So you remember the 15 catches dropped off Umesh but can't remember the 2 catches dropped off Bhuv?

Its easier to remember something which happens quite often then something which is a rarity, isn't it??

It's not a rarity. Watch all the dropped catches in WI, despite which Bhuv got 5 wickets. It is "perceived" as a rarity because people choose to be "blind".

Well looking at his body looked to have gained muscle . He will never be muscle bulging but defo bulked up a bit . Speeds were high , clocking 89 mph at times .

He could be like an express philander :cheer::phehe:

Currently BK's biggest problem is same as what Umesh had under Dhoni. Not getting a consistent run and being in and out of the team. For a swing bowler rhythm is crucial. Umesh was sucking completely at the beginning of the year and getting almost no wickets. Yet he was persisted with and we can see the results. BK will also do better with a more consistent run

Umesh was quite good against England our slip fielders dropped 7 catches and 12 in whole season of Umesh.Coming to Bhuvi he will find it hard to play with Yadav and Shami being fit in India.Abroad he will get his chance and swing bowlers need specific conditions and Bhuvi is been given opportunity in those conditions. He is developing his speed and bouncer as well so

Competition is good in indian fast bowling currently.

But still the number is smaller then that of umesh , the amount of catches dropped off umesh is just criminal..

The number is small because he has played less Tests. The proportion of Tests to dropped catches is about the same.

OK chalo agreed! but regarding drop catches, it depends on which fielder is Fielding in that particular positions, pitch behavior etc.. but i would say one should give umesh a benefit of doubt for just one reason that he bowls yard quicker then then bhuvi so faster it comes less time to react!!you, agree or not is a different story!
