putrevus Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 You can blame Dhoni all you want but this again proves Ashwin and Jadeja are products of pitches and conditions. How can they be so ineffective and all this talk about Ashwin adjusting to Kookaburra is just talk unless this guy proves he can be effective on these pitches. There was no pressure at all from the these two.Smith was playing like them with such ease.It again reinforces how all our spinners are products of pitches. vijay50 1
Laaloo Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 more than 2 spinners, it was the field placing that lost us the match. No slips when fast bowlers are starting, no slip for spinners, easy singles any time. Only if he had choked the singles, keep a few areas open in the deep so the batsmen have to take risks, it would not have been easy for ozzies.Dhoni's captaincy in a nutshell the last couple of years.
putrevus Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Dhoni's captaincy in a nutshell the last couple of years. To choke singles they need pose some kind of threat either by flight or Spin off the pitch. Jadeja with his darts will never pose any threat unless pitch does the job for him and Ashwin did nothing also, Dhoni always has been excellent captain for spin bowlers, his problems was using pace bowler and unnecessary use of part timers.No1 bowler in world needs to do more. cowboysfan 1

putrevus Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Its all about conditions whether batsmen, bowlers; spin or pace.No it is not, great batsmen score runs in toughest conditions, similarly great bowler take wickets on flat pitches. No one expects Ashwin to run thru batting line ups here but he should be able to take couple of wickets and be economical in any conditions.Deception thru flight and dip are not dependent on any conditions for spinners .
Ravi Ram Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hi Guys,Am sure India will perform way better tomorrow. But the match will best be enjoyed by playing Fantasy Cricket on https://goo.gl/AhHyaDAnyone joining in?- Ravi

You can easily choke singles by bowling dart on a regular line and length and NOT spreading the field express bowling 1
putrevus Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Yeah so who selected them in the first place. Yes, we will blame Dhoni all we wantSo you want Dhoni to leave out no1 bowler of this team.
Shivaji bhonsle Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Its a hopeless situation.. Jeez, I'm not watching this stupidity anymore..
FischerTal Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 It's sad because no matter how hard our batsmen score, they know it will be an inevitable loss with such a strategy
New guy Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 So you want Dhoni to leave out no1 bowler of this team.Who Jadeja? On a flat wicket? Yes. Isn't that where the captain can make a difference? If you keep on playing like robots whats the need of a captain
Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 So you want Dhoni to leave out no1 bowler of this team.No.1?On what pitches?Aussie pitches?LOL. express bowling 1
asterix Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Who Jadeja? On a flat wicket? Yes. Isn't that where the captain can make a difference? If you keep on playing like robots whats the need of a captain Jaddu number 1 bowler.... Maybe Jaddu is number one blower in Dhobi's hotel room.. Lol...
adi B Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 So you want Dhoni to leave out no1 bowler of this team.number one bowler ? Lolwhut
Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) It has failed once again. But will this guy learn? PS:Expect him to drop a spinner for Sydney and pick a pacer there. And then say see my point is proved. Edited January 15, 2016 by Malcolm Merlyn
asterix Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 ^ Let him lose all the matches... Dhobi deserves losing all the matches...
jalebi_bhai Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Too much complaining going on. Dhoni's tactics were much improved today. Only one over from a part-timer.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 Yet again Dhoni goes on with his strategy of 2 spinners on wickets where Australia dont even pick a spinner. He openly says that he has no SEAM ALL ROUNDER,despite the fact that Rishi Dhawan is there. Is this not a open announcement that he wont pick Dhawan. He will keep picking Jadeja as long as Jadeja is in the squad.Thats his stubborn and nepotistic attitude.Selectors must decide if such a man deserves to lead Indian Team. adi B, sscomp32, Bigg Brother and 3 others 5 1
WC2011INDIA Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I am convinced that Dhoni has recordings of every selector in a compromising position. No other reason why he hasn't been removed from captaincy.
