more than 2 spinners, it was the field placing that lost us the match. No slips when fast bowlers are starting, no slip for spinners, easy singles any time. Only if he had choked the singles, keep a few areas open in the deep so the batsmen have to take risks, it would not have been easy for ozzies.

To choke singles they need pose some kind of threat either by flight or Spin off the pitch. Jadeja with his darts will never pose any threat unless pitch does the job for him and Ashwin did nothing also, Dhoni always has been excellent captain for spin bowlers, his problems was using pace bowler and unnecessary use of part timers.

No1 bowler in world needs to do more.

No it is not, great batsmen score runs in toughest conditions, similarly great bowler take wickets on flat pitches. No one expects Ashwin to run thru batting line ups here but he should be able to take couple of wickets and be economical in any conditions.Deception thru flight and dip are not dependent on any conditions for spinners .

Actually darts are difficult to get away except in certain areas. You can easily choke singles by bowling dart on a regular line and length and NOT spreading the field

Too much complaining going on. Dhoni's tactics were much improved today. Only one over from a part-timer.

Yet again Dhoni goes on with his strategy of 2 spinners on wickets where Australia dont even pick a spinner.

He openly says that he has no SEAM ALL ROUNDER,despite the fact that Rishi Dhawan is there.Is this not a open announcement that he wont pick Dhawan.

He will keep picking Jadeja as long as Jadeja is in the squad.Thats his stubborn and nepotistic attitude.

Selectors must decide if such a man deserves to lead Indian Team.

I am convinced that Dhoni has recordings of every selector in a compromising position. No other reason why he hasn't been removed from captaincy.
