What a beast he has become.

I admit he has never been a personal favorite to watch for me, but the general connect I share with him is huge coz I have seen him growing from an in-out bench player to a permanent into XI to finally a legend. With all his turnaround innings happening in front of my eyes.

I never felt that connect with SRT/Dravid/Kumble or even VVS since they were greats before I got fully into the game. Hence Virat will always be special to a lot of people of my generation since he is the first legend whose making we have fully witnessed.
