130-135k lol....check out vinay Kumar onthose ranji   tracks....Steyn and Johnson will look ordinary in comparison

not impressed...I will take Binny over him....guilty to say this but I like binny the batsman

thats y i said i cant make out much on those tracks. But if u have bought try him , he has been highly rated by zaheer , jeoff thompson, sachin.

I like Binny, he is decent bowler and decent batsman. The guy saved a test match in Eng for us

Only problem is his effective reduces with old ball and being an all rounder who would always get an 15-20 over old ball. In test he is the best seaming all rounder we have , people accept it or not

Shardul?  A bit drastic.  Shardul is a domestic trundler, a marathi vinay kumar.  He can do what Ishant does, but just much worse.  And I'm a Bombay guy.

But I'm sure Kohli's going to feel the burn of this draw.  I would be surprised if there are no changes to the bowling "attack".

lol. Is he that bad?

Vinay kumar bowls 125 in ranji trophy.

Most pacers seem to clock higher speeds in international cricket than in our domestic matches, exception being Unadkat.   May have something to do with domestic cricket speed-guns.

Shardul bowls 128 k to 142 k in  Ranji....so it is possible that he may bowl 132 k to 145 k. ( can never be sure of these things though )

I would prefer BK over Ishant if he bowls same pace every over as he did in IPL for Hyderbadis.

Bhuvi has added another tool to his bowling now.  His ability to bowl bouncers, as well as getting decent bounce from some short of length deliveries , has improved a lot.  His excellent seam position helps these deliveries.

It would keep the batsmen guessing and make his pitched up swinging deliveries more effective.

Bhuvi's yorkers have improved too.

He has increased his pace in T20s as well as ODIs.  Not sure about his pace in test matches though.

We saw in the Asia Cup that if the conditions favour swing, he still retains his ability to get swing consistently and effectively.

I am very impressed with his will to improve.

^ Exactly, Since he has been dropped, He seems to have gained some muscle mass and look a lot more threatening. I hope he will be part of test setup very soon. Since we are playing 5 bowlers there is not much risk of overbowling and cranking

Have you seen him bowling in a 4 day or 5 day domestic game recently ?   That will give us a better idea.

No, They dont show Indian domestic matches here. IPL is only domestic league which provides a window to gauge domestic cricketers to overseas fans

Ok. Thanks.

It would be nice if we get a chance to see him bowl in a non-international 5 day or 4 day match.

Well if you have bought him, might as well give him a chance to know how good or bad he is. After this there would be home series where only 2 seamers would play and by no means he would get a chance. Trying him in difficult overseas tour could backfire more.

This i think would be the perfect opp to try him. Ishant already not doing something great so we wont miss much and atleast with a newcomer one thing is for sure he ll put all effort. IF he is bad we could move on and try others in future.

My ques with bhuvi has always been his effectiveness on flat pitches or when the ball gets old. I think that is where a team Mngmt knows much that how much has he improved in that aspect. Im not to worried about him as he would get his chances in england till that time he can keep working hard on his bowling.

Ill try shardul this time, even though i dont expect team Mngmt to do the changes.

Kohli does fall for reputations at times, be it with Bhajji, ishant, yuvraj or rohit
