After watching Rahane in the 3rd test it is a mystery he does not do better in the ODIs. Maybe t20 is a bit too much for him but IMO should be a good ODI batsman for India.

No Rahane would open, Raina's place wud be taken by either mandeep or jadhav

If Rahane opens he will struggle a lot. NZ are going to pepper him with lots of short balls/bouncers. Another hit on the helmet coming or he will pull horribly and get out.

Rahane struggling against short ball n fast bowling, looks like u have only seen one match that was last one and that to didnt get it was sue to the pitch that he struggled. He is a terrific player against pace n bounce n even movement. The guys has runs in NZ, SA, Aus ENg and u worried about him being troubled on an Indian pitch .

Mandeep (Should give him a go at the top,if doesn't work out Rahane comes in at the top and Kedar comes in at no.4)

Mishra (Picking him over Jayant as he's a leggie,more exp and the opponent is NZ though if there are

Reserves:-Kedar,Jayant,Dhawal.Raina is out of the 1st ODI and in my opinion he doesn't deserve a chance in the team.

Would've liked to see Mayank,Kuldeep and Nathu in the squad.Plus I'd would've picked Chahal over Mishra in LOIs as a

Thats just said about most indian pitches they have bounce like it was said for Mohali for many years. At the end of the day they all will be batting paradises . Also in Dharamshala the ball travels in air faster. A good batting track will help Nz specially looking at our bowling attack

I have a gut feeling that Rahane is going to have a horrible odi series and will be dropped. He won't be making the cut for Champions Trophy even though those english conditions suits his batting style.

Santner wouldn't have been bowling against Raina, the fast bowlers would have been introduced immediately

Had NZ had MCgleashan or milne i would have been worried for raina which would have been a worring Jadhav case also. Southee, boult, henry are diff bowlers.
