narenpande1 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Kohli does not like to step out..I reckon, Ashwin would get the better of Kohli on this type of wicket had they played against each other. Rasgulla and tweaker 2
express bowling Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 One year ago ...i would have said that Ashwin would win. Now...I am not sure......Kohli has improved a LOT on turning tracks and generally against spinners. It could be Kohli winning one day and Ashwin on another. sandeep 1
adi B Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Kohli would have won ,throughout the series as well had he faced ashwin.these pitches are not rank turners.on pitches similar to saf last year, ashwin will own Kohli hands down
narenpande1 Posted December 10, 2016 Author Posted December 10, 2016 Well, the way this Mumbai pitch has been on day 3. Kohli would not have survived if Ashwin sniffed a wicket or so. Ashwin has the ability to bowl unplayable balls when he has his tail up. MCcricket 1

Sandeep99 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Looking at how Buttler applied himself against Ashwin, I'd say Kohli would have smasehd Ashwin to all parts.. must definitely be a battle for the ages though!
vayuu1 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Forget ashwin how would kohli had played against Jadeja on this pitch. Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
kira Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 King kohli will smash ashwin, there is only one alpha in team India
SUMO Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 ashwin would have deceived him in the flight and few edges for sure nobody has even beaten him in the air this series

Ashwin has got Sangakkarra out 4 times in 4 innings against him. Ashwin is too smart to have not figured him out Kohli Edited December 10, 2016 by narenpande1 UnknownGenius 1

philcric Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Would have been a fascinating contest esp on a pitch like this where theres a fair bit for the spinners and good batsmen can score plenty of euns. express bowling 1

This Butler has had many days against Ind - Ind seem to like Butlers a lot, maybe we watch too much Downton Abbey.
Laaloo Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Ashwin would have owned Kohli Ashwin is too damn good UnknownGenius and Lord 2
Cricketics Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Ashwin might find few edges more from Kohli's bat than some of the other spinners in the world but I think Kohli in this form would dominate any bowler, including Ashwin. May be Ashwin might fox him one game, he surely won't spare Ashwin in other games, such is the batsman Kohli. Too damn good against spin. He will milk Ashwin for singles in different areas on field and on deliveries where Ashwin is usually dominating over other batsmen.
vvvslaxman Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Kohli . His wrist work is phenomenal. He is a bit like Azharuddin. Remember when Mendis was weaving magic around our players he showed how it should be done. Same way with chucker Ajmal. Possibly one of the few players who dominated Ajmal in the world when he was at his peak.
