Well he started off as a trundler and fizzed out after a couple of good games. He came back and increased his pace around 5-10kph and that made a world of difference.

No, his yorkers were always good. Some people are just too obsessed with seeing the speed gun and what it says. If soeed gun says 140 for any bowler then people go :cheer:regardless of how shyt a bowler is bowling and if the speed gun says 132, peope will :facepalm:for no reason.

No they weren't. You need to get off of that speed crap. We're not obsessed by speed guns. It's obvious to anyone who has watched bhuvi to know that the little bit of speed increase helped him out. He started off as 125-130. That's a trundler. He came back off as 130-138 and occasionally 140. That's not a trundler. That's what we want to see.

I will still prefer Umesh over Bhuvi on dry surfaces in "test" matches...ODI and T20 no brainer(no pun intended) Bhuvi over Umesh

Ya so untill few games ago Bhuvi was trundler and of no use when Umesh was being asked to be dropped and now people remember Bhuvi can bowl fast, interesting defense.

Say what? When Shami is fit, both of these have no place in the team.  And yes bhuvi started off as a trundler. What is so hard to understand? He came back with more speed and his yorkers are more effective. I don't know why you are being defensive. It's a good thing. Improvement is a good thing.

Trundler is an over used word. I am

not defending Bhuvi's speed. He did increase it but regardless of that Bhuvi was never a trundler. A frontline bowler like Bhvi who has special skills and is very good at that can never be called a trundler by any sane cricket follower.

Bhuvi had lost his swing somewhere around 2014 and his pace was down too...that was the time we all agreed that he became a trundler. Even in his debut series against Pak he was not exactly a trundler because of the amount of skills he had.....He has improved his pace and also got some of that swing back.

What is so hard to understand here?

He was a trundler. He is not anymore. Bowling 125-130 with line and length is trundler.

Not to forget - Bhuvi can move the ball both ways without any 'tell' for the batsmen, if there is the slightest movement on offer.  That is deadly in any format of the game.

Bhuvi is under-rated by Indian fans starving and crying out for Mitchell Johnson and Starc style dominating fast bowling - And Bhuvi doesn't 'look' that part.  Yadav offers the possibility, hence the extra love.  Never mind that Bhuvi is a jewel of a bowler - He doesn't fit the pre-conceptions.  Credit to VK for not being stubborn with Yadav and dropping him after one game - I half-expected him to persist.

Lol @ we all agreed. You probably did with the trolls. Not sane fans or Bhuvi supporters who know what he is doing.

People judged and dismissed him off of his performances when he was injured and recovering.  Without valuing the qualities he does possess.  If he's fit, watch Bhuvi weave his magic in the Champions trophy.  He is key for us in that tournament.

What are you talking about? Bhuvi conceeded 100+ runs in a ODI and then was taken to cleaners in the Aus series and for a while he failed to get wickets in the opening overs which was what had made him famous.....He showed signs of redemption in IPL,followed by WI tests and Nz test and in recent opportunities.

There was no injustice done..he genuinely lost pace ...a guy bowling 140+ with no skills is a trundler leave alone some one at 130-135+...glad he has got his groove back.

Ya but point is you agreed to still call him trundler and not us fans. We still beleived and hence kept mentioning his name that he should be played ahead because he got brain to bowl unlike others.
